More Books I Want to Read- May 2020

When I took a break from blogging, I wanted to talk about all the books I wanted to read that I either discovered or was released in May 2020. After my break, I realized I still had my second books post saved and I have yet to read all the books on the list. Since I wanted to motivate myself to read more, I decided to share the rest of the books I would like to read. Continue reading “More Books I Want to Read- May 2020”

Mini Target Book Haul- June 2020

After months of self quarantining and avoiding unnecessary travel, I went to Target to buy a book and some other items I cannot find at any other store. While I shopped for the book I wanted, I found two other books I wanted to pick up. Continue reading “Mini Target Book Haul- June 2020”

Books I Want to Read- May 2020

It’s hot outside here in Arizona, so it’s a great time to stay inside and read. The biggest problem I have with saying inside to read is cabin fever set in and I want to go outside more than stay inside. Yet, the heat makes me stay where the temperature is nice a cool.

After months of going without newly released books that peak my reading interest, I found some in stores that I would like to buy and read. Here are some of the books I have my eye on to read during the hot summer months. Continue reading “Books I Want to Read- May 2020”

Target: 20 Years of Design for All: How Target Revolutionized Accessible Design Book Review

On September 14, 2019, Target released their 20th anniversary collection of their design partnership. Before the collection hit stores, they released a book called Target: 20 Years of Design for All: How Target Revolutionized Accessible Design. Out of everything Target released to celebrate their 20th anniversary of their design partnerships, this book was by far the one I wanted the most. There are two main reasons why I wanted the book: I already owned everything I wanted from the design partnerships from their original release and, based off previous experience, it’s nearly impossible to obtain everything I wanted without fighting everyone in store or online. Since the book was available in mass quantities, it was easy for me to pick it up without struggling to beat others to buy it.

Now that I owned the book for a few weeks, and it’s been a week since the full collection was released, I wanted to write a review about it. (By the way, this post is not sponsored. And yes, I really did buy this book with my own money because I’m really excited to own it.) Christmas Presents to Myself- 2017

Last year, after watching videos about what the Youtubers got for Christmas, I decided not to talk about the presents I received simply because I didn’t feel comfortable talking about what others bought me. Instead, I decided to talk about the presents I bought myself because they would eventually end up here on this blog in one way or another.

Even though it’s the middle of January, some of the Christmas presents I bought myself didn’t show up until last week. Since it took so long to receive the presents (and in the case of my new boots, pick them out) it took me longer than I would like to talk about my presents.

So, onto the presents!
