Some of the Fragrances in My Collection Feature (And a Few Opinions About Them)
A few years ago, after some serious health problems, I began to declutter my things. Years later, I am still slowly making my way through my things, declutting them and deciding what I ultimately want to do with them. One of the sections of my things I’m the most overwhelmed to declutter is my fragrance collection.
To me, fragrances are hard to get rid of. If I don’t like the scent, then I don’t mind getting rid of it. Yet, there are some that I like the scent of, but don’t like wearing it. Over the years, I amassed a large collection of fragrances I still don’t want to get rid of.
Even though the day is coming for me to get rid of some of the fragrances, I still want to keep them. Since I am still currently committed to keeping my fragrance collection as is, I decided to write a post featuring some of the fragrances I own and some opinions about them. All the fragrances on this post are not ones I mentioned on this blog before and were collected over the years. All the fragrances are celebrity fragrances or are inspired by a TV show, which is one of the reasons why I don’t want to get rid of them. Although there are specific fragrances in this post have scents that I like a lot, there are some I don’t. I’ll go into this a little more later in this post.
The first fragrance I own is White Diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor…

Ever since I was little, I wanted to own a bottle of Elizabeth Taylor’s famous fragrance, White Diamonds. I didn’t know if I would actually like it, but I just had an idea to own a bottle because… well… I just liked the bottle. And the commercials for the fragrance. And other things associated with Elizabeth Taylor in general. Even though she isn’t the actress I would like to emulate the lifestyle of, I just liked certain things about her. White Diamonds is one of them.
When I was old enough, and had enough money to buy whatever I wanted instead of just what I needed, I decided to buy a bottle of the fragrance. Sadly, the scent isn’t my favorite scent and it doesn’t flatter me well, but I own a bottle of the fragrance. So, I don’t care about wearing it. I’m just happy to own it.
The next fragrance I own is Elizabeth Taylor’s Passion…

Just like White Diamonds, I wanted to own a bottle of Passion. I remember liking the fragrance enough to want to buy it and use it when I was older, but the older I became, the more my impression of certain fragrances changed. Even though I don’t use Passion, I don’t want to get rid of it.
The next fragrances I own are Yellostone for Women…

And Yellowstone Tornado…

I’m not a huge fan of the series Yellowstone, but I do like certain tie in products and things inspired by the series. (Specifically cookbooks inspired by the series) Since I don’t want to give the wrong impression about my lack of fandom, I don’t like to own anything that is easily recognizable as being from Yellowstone.
This is why I was really curious about these two Yellowstone fragrances. When I purchased them, there were two fragrances for women. Today, there are three, but I own the two. I wanted to buy them because I thought I would like the scent. At that time I was searching for what I considered country girl style scents. I had an idea of what I wanted to own and thought these fragrances would fit in the scents I was looking for.
Sadly, I really don’t like either fragrance! I think they are nice scents, but they don’t smell good on me. I am keeping them because they are inspired by Yellowstone and I like the bottles, but if I needed to be extremely serious about reducing the size of my fragrance collection, these fragrances would be leaving.
The last fragrance I own is Dolly Parton’s Scent from Above…

Unlike the Yellowstone and Elizabeth Taylor fragrances, I really like this one! I do prefer Scent from Above: Smoky Mountains, but I still love this one a lot. Although I haven’t had the opportunity to use this scent a lot, I always enjoy how sweet it is. When it comes to the country girl style scents I own, this is one of the fragrances I think smells the most like a country girl.
That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
