New Hallmark Channel Holiday Movies I’m Curious to Watch- 2021

Today is the first day of the Hallmark Channel’s Count Down to Christmas. I will not be able to watch the movies on the Hallmark Channel because I don’t have the Hallmark Chanel (Nor a streaming subscription), but I’m very excited to see some of the new movies. Even though I will need to wait a while to see the movies, I still wanted to talk about a few of the new holiday movies that peaked my interest this year.

Christmas in Harmony

Premieres October 29 at 8pm/7c

Hallmark Channel’s official synopsis about the movie is…

Harmony is tricked into auditioning for the Holiday Chorus – directed by an ex-boyfriend. By Christmas Eve, they could be harmonizing in the key of love. Starring Ashleigh Murray, Luke James, Loretta Devine, Michelle Williams, and Basil Wallace.

The movie will most likely include singing, which peaks my interest a lot. Even though the synopsis does not interest me a lot, I’ve been trying to watch more movies I wouldn’t normally pick. I think this movie has the potential to be a movie I will enjoy, so I’m looking forward to watching it.

Open By Christmas

Premieres November 5 at 8pm/7c

Hallmark Channel’s official synopsis about the movie is…

When Nicky finds an unopened Christmas card from a high school secret admirer, she and her best friend Simone search to find and thank the anonymous author.

The movie stars Allison Sweeney, Erica Durance, and Brennan Elliot. The plot sounds really cute and like the movie could be a really sweet movie.

Next Stop, Christmas

Premieres November 6 at 8pm/7c

The movie is about a woman who questions her life choices as she takes a train home for Christmas. The train travels back ten years to a Christmas when she made the choices she questions. During the trip into the past, she learns what and who is important to her. The movie stars Lyndsy Fonseca and Chandler Massey as well as Lea Thompson and Christopher Lloyd, both of who appeared in the Back to the Future movies. I’m a Back to the Future fan, so this movie is one I’m very curious to watch.

A Christmas Treasure

Premieres November 7 at 8pm/7c

Hallmark Channel’s official synopsis about the movie is…

After opening a 100-year-old time capsule and a meeting with a charming chef, Lou questions whether or not she should move to New York City after Christmas and further her writing career.

The movie stars Jordan Sparks and Michael Xavier. Just like Christmas in Harmony, the plot synopsis does not interest me, but I think this movie has the potential to be a really cute and enjoyable movie. Plus, Jordan Sparks is in the movie!

Christmas at Castle Hart

Premiere Date to Be Announced

Christmas at Castle Hart is about a woman named Brooke Bennett who goes to Ireland during Christmas to research her Irish heritage. While there, she meets Aiden Hart, the Earl of Glaslough. When the Earl mistakes Brooke as an event planner, he hires her to host the castle’s Christmas party. The movie stars Lacy Chabert and Stuart Townsend.

This movie is the only new royalty Christmas themed movie this year. I usually watch and enjoy the royal themed movies from Hallmark, so I’m very interested in watching it.

Sister Swap Movies

Sister Swap: A Homecoming Holiday & Sister Swap: Christmas in the City

Premiere Date to Be Announced

This year, the Hallmark Channel will be releasing two new movies that center around two sisters who swap lives during the Christmas season. Each movie will focus on one sister and how they navigate their life while living in their sister’s life. The movies are different and sound like they could be a pair of heartwarming stories. Because of the uniqueness of the plot and the potential to be a heartwarming story, I’m really looking forward to watching these two movies.

A Kiss Before Christmas

Premiere Date to Be Announced

The last movie is A Kiss Before Christmas. The movie’s plot synopsis on the Hallmark Channel website is quite long, but it is about a married real estate developer who wishes he would stop being a “nice guy” because he believes it holds him back in his career. One morning, he wakes up with a totally different life. He is no longer a husband with children, but he does own his own business.

I’m very curious about the movie. The plot reminds me of It’s a Wonderful Life, except the Hallmark Chanel Christmas movie version. I think this movie had a lot of potential and I’m looking forward to watching it.

Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
