Top 5 Favorite Dior Makeup and Beauty Products

It’s the time of the year to buy Christmas makeup gift sets and great excuse to buy makeup to try out. Buying myself makeup gift sets is how I discovered some of my favorite Dior Beauty products. Dior is, of course, not affordable for everyone and I need to be careful how many items I buy at one time so I won’t spend more money than I allow myself to. Despite this, I have some make up and beauty favorites that, if I need to replace it, I tend to look at those items first before I search for anything else from Dior.

Recently, while shopping recent makeup and beauty sales, I discovered some of my favorites on sale. Although I didn’t buy back up of them during the sales because I’m happy with the number of backups I have, I thought it may be fun to list my favorite makeup and beauty items from Dior. Although they are pricey, I am happy with the quality of the makeup and beauty items on my favorites list and I hope that, if anyone wants to try new make up, they could start with one of my favorites.

Dior Lip Sugar Scrub

The Dior Lip Sugar Scrub is probably my favorite Dior makeup and beauty favorites of all time. It’s expensive, as is everything on this list, but if I could only buy one item on this list it would always be the Sugar Scrub. It has a spearmint scent, which I love very much, as well as very fine sugar grains in the balm. I prefer the smaller sugar grains in lip scrubs as a maintenance for my lips because they are less abrasive. Although it’s a sugar scrub, it has a light pink tinted balm on it that keeps the lips hydrated after application. I’ve watched YouTubers complain about the balm, how well it sticks on the lips, and that it has a light pink hue that messes with the application of lipstick, but I love it because I don’t need to wear lipstick or reapply as often as other balms I used.

Dior Rouge Lipstick in the Color 999

I don’t wear red lipstick much, mostly because I don’t go many places where I feel comfortable wearing red lipstick, but I do love wearing it. My favorite red lipsticks have a blue undertone, and one of my all time favorite colors is 999 from Dior. 999 is one of the oldest colors of lipstick Dior still creates. I first discovered it at a makeup counter when I was 13 years old, swatched it when my parents weren’t looking, and loved it and the way it looked on me ever since. Although I tried other lipstick colors from Dior, 999 is by far my most favorite.

Diorshow Black Out Mascara

After trying many kinds of mascara, (but not enough to consider myself an expert) I can honestly say the Diorshow Black Out Mascara is one of my all time favorite mascaras. It adds length to the lashes, but not enough to look unnatural. It comes in black, brown, and blue and comes in a waterproof version in all three colors.

Diorific Vernis Nail Lacquers

Another makeup and beauty favorite is Diorific Vernis Nail Lacquers. The nail lacquers are not as affordable as other nail polishes such as Essie and OPI, but they are normally part of Sephora’s VIB sale and other makeup and beauty sales. I find the Diorific Vernis Nail Lacquers are very good nail polishes. They will wear and chip like Essie and OPI, but I find they still last longer than Essie and OPI. Because of this, I believe Dior’s Nail Lacquers are a great way to become familiar with Dior’s beauty and makeup products without needed to buy makeup or skincare.

Diorshow Brow Styler

My last favorite is the Diorshow Brow Styler. I originally purchased the Brow Styler because I had trouble finding an eye brow pencil that comes in multiple colors. At the time, I wanted an eye brow pencil to fill in my then very sparse brow hairs and needed different colors to create shading. The Brow Styler did the trick. It comes in six colors and has an ultra-fine tip in order to create strokes that look like hairs.
