On April 20th, I went to Sephora because they had their VIB sale. I normally don’t shop during the VIB sale (Mostly because I’m too busy around the time the sale is going on), but after browsing the store located inside my local JcPenny’s, I found a few things I wanted and bought them during the sale.
In 2018, I wanted to write more posts on this blog about topics besides beauty hauls. So far, I’ve failed but I hope to change it by talking about my monthly favorites!
In future posts, want to talk about what I found out and fell in love with during the month. This includes movies, books, TV shows, and anything else I would like to share. I do not plan on writing about beauty and makeup products only, but this month I ended up talking them anyway. So, let’s get started!
I’ve wanted to buy a few things from Sephora for a while, but after having problems with a few of my Sephora packages getting lost in the mail, I held back buying anything from them. Last month, I decided to go to a store instead of order online. The reason why I liked ordering online is because I live far away from an actual Sephora store and the closet JcPenny Sephora store is over an hour’s drive away. Despite this, I was so frustrated with the mail I decided to go to an actual store anyway.
In January, Bath and Body Works had their semi annual sale. After falling in love with the Snowy Morning shower gel, I decided to go back and see if I could find some more. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any, but I was still able to find three body mists that I really enjoyed the smell of. (And didn’t aggravate my allergies!)
It’s January 2018 and I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! Although I planned on posting the second and last Sephora haul from November 2017, I decided to delay the post because some of the items that came in this haul were Christmas presents. I ended up leaving the presents out of this haul, but I wanted to delay this post just in case the present’s recipients read it. Continue reading “November 2017 Sephora Haul Part 2”
November was a crazy month for me so, even though I wanted to make a few haul posts last month, I was unable to sit down at the computer and write any of them. I originally thought I should write one post about my Spehora hauls throughout November, but I realized it would be too large. So, I decided to split the posts up into two parts.
I did not intend to post this near the end of December, but it ended up that way! So, here it is! The November 2017 Sephora haul Part 1!
Earlier this week I talked about a Chloe Coffret Gift Set I bought at Sephora a few months ago. In addition to the Chloe gift set, I bought a Marc Jacobs Daisy Gift set. In the time between when I bought both gift sets and when I’m writing this post, the Chloe gift set is still available but the Marc Jacobs gift set is sold out.
Even though the Marc Jacobs gift set is sold out, I still wanted to talk about it in a post, mostly because I never tried the Daisy fragrance before and I wanted to talk about it.
A few months ago I mentioned that I ordered a sample of Chloe’s Love Story Eude de Parfum. I wanted to buy Love Story in a bigger bottle than my sample, but, since I was still unsure how my sensitive lungs would take the scent, I decided to hold back buying the full size bottle until I had more time to thing about it.
While browsing Sephora, I came across a Chloe fragrance gift set called Chloe Coffret Gift Set. This gift set included two small bottles of Chloe perfumes, including Love Story. I was very excited to see it and was even more excited to see the set was only $20 USD. Even though I bought it a while ago, wanted to talk about the set in a post without discussing the fragrances and my allergies.
A few months ago, while ordering from Sephora, I ordered two free fragrance samples to go with my order. The two fragrance samples are Dolce & Gabbana’s The One and Dior’s Poison Girl. When I opened the bottles, I wasn’t sure of the scents or if I would like them at all. So, I took a few weeks (Ok, it was a few months) to decide if I liked them or if they bothered my allergies compared to other fragrances I tried at that time.
I know it’s October, but I wanted to talk about my order from Sephora in August.
I normally purchase a jar of Glam Glow’s Super Glam Mud every month, but this month I still had enough mud in the jar that I didn’t need to buy more for a while. Since I didn’t need to buy another jar, I was free to buy anything I wanted from Sephora, as long as it was in my budget.
