January 2024 Book Haul- Part 1

For the past few months, I’ve been very busy. Sadly, there are many blog posts that need to be written or finished that still have yet to be. For this reason, I decided to dedicate a post every week for as long as it will take to publish these unfinished posts!

One of these posts are about a series of book hauls. I really liked the books I purchased, but I felt embarrassed by the amount of books I purchased in one month’s time. This was also around the time I started to dedicate more time and energy to decluttering my things, including books. Because of this, I wanted to hold off writing book hauls posts just in case I decided to get rid of any of the books in this haul. For this haul, which is one of four haul posts I will be publishing this month, I decided to keep all the books in this haul. Even though they are new and some I don’t really enjoy as much as I thought I would, I still want to keep them for a little while longer in the event I change my mind about them.

Here are all the books in this haul…

I purchased all of them from Amazon.

The first book I purchased is Go Tell the Bees That I am Gone by Diana Gabaldon…

This is the latest book in the Outlander book series. I wanted to own a hard copy of this book when it was released, but it was sold out at Walmart. Earlier this year, I decided to try to hunt for a hard copy of the book online. I found one on Amazon on sale, so I purchased it.

The next book I purchased is Back on the Boulevard by Samantha Robinson…

This is the newest book in the book series The Boys of Benjamin Boulevard. I already own the first book in the series and enjoyed it, so I decided to purchase the second.

The next book is Captain America, the Penguin Classics Marvel Collection version…

This is a collection of the first comics of Captain America’s story. I want to eventually own all the books in the Penguin Classics Marvel Collection, but so far the only books I own are The Amazing Spider-Man and this one.

The last book in this haul is Spy x Family: Family Portrait…

This is a light novel inspired by the manga, Spy x Family. I really like the Spy x Family manga so I decided give this book a try.

That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
