The Sale of Warner Brothers, The CW, and Panic Buying My Favorite TV Shows on DVD

The sale of Warner Brothers has been really huge news for quite some time. It isn’t every day a studio as large, well known, and is over 100 years old begins the process to sell it’s assets (Including the actual studios, catalogue, and more) and start to close it’s doors.

When I heard about it, it was just a small rumbling my friends heard about. Now, we know what they heard wasn’t a rumor and it was the truth. Yet, I began to wonder what would happen if Warner Brothers did close. What would happen to a lot of movies and TV shows I love? Will they still exist on DVD still or will they be available via streaming services only?

After thinking about this for months, I finally decided to star buying my favorite TV shows and movies on DVD.

Book Review: Sound of Light: A Marvel School of X Novel by Amanda Bridgeman

I used to really like Marvel Studios movies, but for the past few years I haven’t enjoyed them. Instead, I shifted my focus from watching Marvel movies to reading comic books only.

I have been aware of Marvel novel that have been published over the past few years. For the most part I passed over many of them, but a few have caught my eye. One of them is Sound of Light.

Last year, during a time when I missed the way the stories old Marvel Studios movies had, I decided to pick up some of the Marvel novels I own. I was hoping I could fill the void these movies left when the story telling and other elements of the movies changed. The first books I read was Sound of Light. After reading it, I decided to write a dedicated review about it.

January 2024 Book Haul- Part 1

For the past few months, I’ve been very busy. Sadly, there are many blog posts that need to be written or finished that still have yet to be. For this reason, I decided to dedicate a post every week for as long as it will take to publish these unfinished posts!

One of these posts are about a series of book hauls. I really liked the books I purchased, but I felt embarrassed by the amount of books I purchased in one month’s time. This was also around the time I started to dedicate more time and energy to decluttering my things, including books. Because of this, I wanted to hold off writing book hauls posts just in case I decided to get rid of any of the books in this haul. For this haul, which is one of four haul posts I will be publishing this month, I decided to keep all the books in this haul. Even though they are new and some I don’t really enjoy as much as I thought I would, I still want to keep them for a little while longer in the event I change my mind about them.

Rimmel London x Madame Web Collection: Walgreens In Store Display and What I Bought

Back in February, the movie Madame Web was released in theaters. It was the newest movie in the Marvel Studios film franchise. Even though I wasn’t interested in seeing it, I do enjoy looking at the tie in products with the Marvel movies, even if I don’t actually purchase them!

This time, there weren’t very many tie in products I saw available. I need to admit that I didn’t look very hard for them, but I was surprised that I didn’t find many available! The only tie in products I found was the Rimmel x Madame Web collection at Walgreens.

I like certain Rimmel products a lot, mostly their lip glosses. During a trip at Walgreens to shop for something I needed, I found the in store display and many of the products in the collection still available for purchase.

Batman x Makeup Revolution Collection at Walmart- In Store Photographs

A month or so before October, I discovered my local Walmart had the Batman x Makeup Revolution collection. for sale. The collection is formally called Revolution x DC Universe by Makeup Revolution. The collection I saw at Walmart was inspired by Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy.

Even though the collection has been out for a while, I didn’t publish a post about the collection or the photographs I took of the collection. I wanted to publish this post in October, but things didn’t work out right. Instead, I decided to do it now before Thanksgiving is in full swing.
