The Phantom of the Opera is no longer on Broadway, but there are two film versions of Andrew Loyd Webber’s famous musical. Both versions follow the same plot, a masked musical genius mentors an orphan girl how to sing, but they are different than the other. The first is the 2004 movie version of the musical follows the plot, but dilates from it for cinematic reasons. The second is the 25th anniversary concert filmed at the Royal Albert Hall. This one’s plot is exactly the same as the stage musical and stars members of various stage productions world wide.
