This year, I wanted to write more posts about the sales that are going on. Even though shopping is not a “hobby” everyone should partake in, especially when you’re saving for something important, I know it is a time when frugality is more important than normal. Because of this, I wanted to talk more about certain sales that are going on.

Right now, Sephora’s Savings Event is going on. Usually whenever a Sephora sale or Ulta Beauty sale happens, other stores will hold their own sales on beauty products. Some of the stores I know would hold a sale during this time are not, but some are. Also, some of the sales at other stores offer larger discounts! Since this is a time when stores are holding more sales on their beauty products, I wanted to highlight the Sephora sale as well as beauty sales happening at Macy’s and Nordstrom. The sales at Macy’s and Nordstrom are subject to change without my knowledge, so keep that in mind if you are looking at shopping them!

Sephora’s (Spring) Savings Event

Sephora’s Savings Event began on April 14th (AKA the day before this post is published). Right now, the sale is only available for Rogue rewards program level members. On the 18th, VIB and Insider members will get to shop the sale. The sale runs from the 18th (Or 14th for Rogue members) to the 24th of April 2023. Each reward level has different percent savings (Rogue is 20% off, VIB is 15% off, and Insider is 10% off) so make sure you know how much money you’ll save on the sale as well as when the sale begins for your reward level.

No matter what kind of reward level you are at, there is a sale on all Sephora brand products. It is 30% off all Sephora brand products. The sale starts on April 14th and lasts to the 18th. The sale is open for all reward levels and can get the discount starting on the 14th.

 

Macy’s

Macy is having a small beauty sale. Brands in the sale include Lancome, Glam Glow, Clinique, Smashbox, Ralph Lauren, and Jimmy Choo. Also, there are beauty products inspired by the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in the sale. Even though the sale is not very big, and mostly includes soaps, candles, and self care products, it is a great time to see if there are any beauty products for a better sale than the Sephora sale. You can find a link to the sale on Macy’s front page. You may need to scroll to find it, but it is there.

 

Nordstrom

Nordstrom is also having a small beauty sale, but I like Nordstorm’s more than Macy’s. Brands in the sale are Mac, Lancome, Clinique, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Too Faced, Estée Lauder, and Kiehl’s. Some of the products in the sale are on sale for a limited time only while others are permanently reduced prices. Discounts vary greatly, but most are between the 25% to 35% off regular price. If you want to buy something from Sephora, but don’t want to wait until the 18th to shop or are just shopping around for a better sale price, I highly recommend looking at Nordstrom’s sale.
