2019 Christmas House Interior Decoration Progress- Part 2

A few weeks ago, I talked about decorating the inside of my house for Christmas. Although it’s nearing Christmas, I have more decorating I need to do. I think I’m a bad blogger for not getting all my decorations up by now because it seems like all the bloggers, YouTubers, and people I follow on social media have their decorations up by now. But eh. Life didn’t turn out the way I hoped it would this month. Since I’m not done, I wanted to give everyone a progress update on how slow I am on decorating my house. The first area I’m still in the process of decorating is the top of the vinyl record player…

I’m still stumped about what to do with it. So far the most exciting thing I’ve done with it is keep my Rae Dunn mugs on display and add a new reindeer ornament between the two mugs. I got the ornament from Ebay along with another reindeer ornament. Both ornaments are from the brand Fiz and Floyd. Other than that, I’ve displayed the most recent Christmas card I received in front of the mugs and ornament.

The next placed I’m still trying to decorate is the fireplace mantel…

The only difference between my last post and this one is the addition of the little light up tree. I got the tree at Target this year. I planned on getting two trees so they can sit on either side of the piano, mantel, or wherever I decided to place them, but the store only had one left. I checked frequently, but there was no restocks. So, there’s only one tree. I hope to decorate it and add some garland around the mantel, but I didn’t get that far.

I also decorated an empty wall in the kitchen…

So far I hung a garland. I would like to hang a wreath, something I do every year, but I didn’t do it yet.

I also need to put up the Christmas tree. I don’t know where I put my Christmas tree skirt, so I’ll need to wrap either a blanket or some nice fabric from my fabric stash around the bottom of the tree.

Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
