2017 Black Friday Deals I’m Looking Forward To

Thanksgiving is next week and so is Black Friday. Although I’m more concerned about making a Thanksgiving meal for my family, I wanted to plan ahead for Black Friday. That way, I won’t need to worry about hunting for deals. Fortunately, many of the stores I wanted to shop at already released previews or ads for their Black Friday deals. So, here are a few of the deals I’m looking forward to.

Electronics

I normally do not look for electronics on Black Friday because all my electronics still work and I have no need for more. This year, I had quite a few problems with my old electronics which makes me wonder if it is possible to find replacements during Black Friday sales that are within my budget.

The electronics that I’m on the hunt for are TVs, Blue Ray/DVD players, and new headphones. In Target’s Black Friday ad, they advertised that they will be selling some models of Beats headphones for $100 USD or more off their normal price. They also have 4K TVs for sale as well. Although I’m very interested in both the Beats headphones and 4K TVs, I’m not sure if I will end up buying them yet. I do know from shopping at Target in previous years that they will have headphones that are not Beats, but will do everything I wanted them to on sale. The same as TVs. They don’t usually advertise them in their ads, so I will need to go to Target to see if they are on sale.

DVDs, Blue Rays, and CDs

While on the topic of TV’s and DVDs, I know Target has very good deals on their DVDs and Blue Rays on Black Friday. I actually didn’t buy certain movies and TV shows just in case I can find them on sale on Black Friday. I have a mental list of everything I want to look for, but I won’t know what will be on sale until I walk into the store. Still, I think it’s worth a look.

In addition to DVDs and Blue Rays, Target normally has CDs on sale as well. I also have a mental list of all the CDs I’d like to buy, but I will need to walk into the store to see what is actually on sale.

Pajamas, Robes, and Slippers

Pajamas, robes, and slippers are the top priority items to shop for on Black Friday. Not to get into to many details, I need more pajamas, a new bath robe, and new slippers. Also, I need to buy new slippers for someone on my Christmas gift list. I’m not sure where I’ll look for pajamas, robes, and slippers, but the stores I plan on looking at are Target, Macy’s, Dillard’s, and JcPenny’s.

Blankets, Sheets, and Comforters

Since it’s fall, the best and softest blankets are available. And, when it’s Black Friday, those blankets are on sale! I would like to buy some new blankets to replace old ones that are old and/or falling apart. I know there are usually comforters for sale as well, and I would like to see if bed sheets are on sale. I normally buy bed sheets in the spring time because there seems to be better sales on them, but I would like to search for good sales on them. The stores I plan on searching for them are JcPenny’s, Dillard’s, and Macy’s, but I don’t mind expanding my search to other stores if I have the time and energy.

Christmas Tree Ornaments

I know. I know. I’ve already bought Christmas tree ornaments. But there is one store I want to look at for ornaments: The Disney Store.

Every Black Friday, The Disney Store has a huge sale on their website and their ornaments go on sale. I love buying my Disney ornaments during this time because they are on sale for a very good price. I also like looking for other Disney items to buy that are on sale during Black Friday as well.

Even though I have my eye on The Disney Store’s ornaments, I wanted to look at Target’s Christmas tree ornaments as well. They could have them on sale or have a coupon that can be used on the ornaments and all Christmas items. So, I’d like to look there for Christmas tree ornaments as well.

Books

The last Black Friday deal I’m looking forward to is sales on books. Normally the books on sale are not books I’m interested in looking at, but Barnes and Noble have really great coupons. I used a Black Friday coupon to buy some books last year and I’m very happy I did! I plan on looking at Barnes and Noble’s website to see if they offer the coupon again this year. If they do, I’d like to use it to buy books or, if they offer a coupon for it this year, buy vinyl records in the vinyl records section of the store.
