Murder by Cheesecake’s St. Olaf’s Cheesecake Recipe Review

Earlier this year, a new murder mystery novel was released. There are many murder mystery novels that get published every year, but this one was different. This one is called Murder by Cheesecake and is inspired by the TV series The Golden Girls.

I bought the novel after a suggestion from a friend of mine who just so happens to be a huge fan of The Golden Girls. Months after it was released, I’m still working my way through it (I started it a few weeks ago and I’ve been quite busy since then.) so I can’t write a review about it. So far I like it and it is written the same way the TV show would be.

Even though I’m still reading the book, there was something about the book I can review now: The St. Olaf’s Cheesecake Recipe.

A Few Foods I Want to Learn How to Baking From Scratch (And Why)

My attempts at baking homemade bread and cookies have been a great success! I still don’t feel like I mastered the recipes, but I am still excited about how they turn out. Now that I feel optimistic about my baking skills, I decided to make a list of foods I want to learn how to bake. In true-to-myself fashion, the list is long. Very long.

Even though the list is long, there are certain recipes I want to learn how to make more than others. This week, I will be attempting to make more foods to celebrate Halloween and my birthday next week. I narrowed down the food to five to focus my attention on, as well as write on this list. At least one of the foods on this list will be made this week. If  something stops me from working on it, I will work on it next week.

Avocado and Lime Toast Recipe

In a previous post, I reviewed a Mickey Mouse 90th anniversary toaster. After I made the toast, I decided to make avocado toast using the bread.

For the avocado spread, I created my favorite kind of spread for avocado toast: avocado and lime. It’s a very easy to create and is very flavorful.

How I create the spread is to take a whole avocado and mash it. After mashing the avocado, I squeeze half a lime into the spread and mix.
