Mickey Mouse 90th Anniversary Toaster Reveal and Review

A few weeks ago, while at JcPenny’s, I walked by an end cap that had Mickey Mouse 90th anniversary items for sale. After browsing, I decided to purchase a Mickey Mouse toaster. I needed a new toaster because I do not own one and I currently use my oven to make toast. Using the oven has proven to be very impractical and difficult to use, so I needed a toaster. I knew this Mickey Mouse toaster is not what I want to own for my daily use, but I wanted a fun toaster for making birthday toast or toast for another special day.

The toaster looked like it did on the box, with Mickey Mouse on the side of it…

Overall, the toaster is cute, but I wanted to know how well it made toast! The box showed that the toaster created a silhouette of Mickey Mouse on the toasted bread. I think it’s a cute idea, but I was unsure how clear the silhouette is on the toast.

Recently, I decided to try the toaster out to see how well it worked. I used white bread and set it at the lowest setting. Since I like my toast to be toasted, but still soft inside and not crispy through and through, I was very curious to see if the toaster will satisfy my picky toast pallet. The lowest setting should create the type of toast I like, and I can say the toaster did not fail me! It was crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. Just the way I like my toast. I had bad experiences with burning my toast when using anything but an oven, so knowing I found a toaster that didn’t burn my toast make me so ecstatic!

Even though I’m thrilled with the way the toaster cooked my toast, I do have a complaint: Mickey’s silhouette didn’t turn out as nice as I hoped.

This is probably because I had the toaster on the lowest setting, which probably didn’t allow the toaster to get hot enough to make the silhouette as clear as it is on the box, but I still hoped the silhouette would be a little more defined.

I also would like to mention that the toaster makes the silhouette on one side of the toast only…

Even though I’m disappointed with the clarity of the silhouette, I’m still very happy with my toaster. It makes toast in a shorter amount of time than my oven ever did and it cooks it the way I like my toast. I’m very happy with my Mickey Mouse toaster and look forward to using it in the future.

Well, that’s all for now! It’s different than my normal recent posts but I hope you enjoyed this post! Thank you for reading!
