Michaels Stores Sweet and Spooky 2025 Halloween Decorations

For the past several years, there have been more Halloween decorations in the color pink. Some years the decorations are in a light pink while others are bright pink. These decorations are usually hit or miss with people online and with shoppers.

This year, Michaels created a collection called Sweet and Spooky. This collection features a lot of pink, but with a retro twist. I was able to see this collection in store. While there, I took photographs of everything I liked or thought was interesting in the collection.

For the most part the collection is similar in style to Michaels Trick or Treat collection. (I wrote a post about the collection here) From what I’ve seen online, some people like it. Others hate it. I fall somewhere in between. There are pieces I really like, but there are others I really don’t.

To be honest, I think the collection is perfect for a teenager. If I was a teenager, I would’ve loved this collection’s color scheme. There are pieces I wouldn’t like, mostly because the collection leans heavily into a goth style. (Which I wasn’t into as a teenager) Yet, the color scheme is what I wanted to decorate my bedroom like. As an adult, I like it, but I don’t know if I can decorate my home with them easily. (I prefer to decorate for Halloween with oranges and blacks. No pinks.) Still, I enjoyed seeing it and trying to imagine what I would do with my favorite decorations.

I’m not normally a fan of skulls or spiders in my decorations, but I don’t mind the ones in this wreath. I also don’t like disco balls in my Halloween decorations, but the ones in the wreath add a different sparkle than the rest of the balls in the wreath.
