Colourpop x Winx Club Ultra Glossy Lip Review- Bloom

A while ago, I found out Colourpop created a collaboration collection inspired by the animation, Winx Club. Since then, I have been considering if I would like to buy anything from the collection. I like the collection, but I didn’t want nor need any makeup from the collection. After months of thinking, I decided to buy two Ultra Glossy Lip products. (AKA lip glosses) Out of the two shades I purchased, the first shade I tried is called Bloom.

The lip glosses in the collection are named after each of the main characters that are members of the Winx Club. Their leader is a girl named Bloom.

I picked this gloss, as well as the other shade from this collection, because they are in a shade of pink. I like pink lip glosses and they usually look really good against my skin. In the case of this lip gloss, the pink isn’t one I would normally go for. It had a gold shimmer, which usually makes the shade warm toned. I prefer cool toned makeup, but this shade is one that looks good on my skin.

The gloss wears pretty well. It doesn’t come off very easily unless the wearer is eating or drinking something. Even then I found it stays on better than other lip glosses I like to wear. I also found this gloss does not feel sticky or tacky when worn. When I rub my lips together while wearing it, my lips feel slick and smooth. It is a different feeling for me because I am used to wearing sticky lip glosses. Even though the lip gloss felt different to me, I was able to find it comfortable to wear.

Overall, I really like this lip gloss. The tube is really pretty, the shade is a nice universally flattering shade, it smells really sweet, and it is a pretty durable gloss. I recommend this gloss to fans of pink lip gloss and wants one with a subtitle gold shimmer.
