Bath and Body Works Butterfly Body Wash Review

I’m always on the search for a pretty, feminine fragrance to use. Last year, I discovered Butterfly by Bath and Body Works. I already own a perfume version of Butterfly, which I have never reviewed in a post, but I haven’t used a body wash in the scent. After discovering there is a body wash, I decided to purchase one and try it.

This is what the bottle of the fine fragrance mist and body wash look like…

Bath and Body Works’ listing for Butterfly describes the scent as…

What it smells like: an inspiring flight through sweet, floral spring air.

Fragrance notes: raspberry nectar, iris petals and airy vanilla.

I love this scent! Raspberry and vanilla are two of my favorite scent notes and this fragrance contains both. They blend so beautifully with the iris in the fragrance. It is a beautiful mix of berry and floral in on fragrance.

The body wash cleans very well and leaves the Butterfly scent behind. The only complaint I have about the body wash is the scent doesn’t linger very long. Usually scents with berry and vanilla scent notes last a while on my skin. This one doesn’t. Instead, it lasted about 15 minutes before it began to fade. I was surprised by this, but, for me, it is not a major issue. I sometimes like the use less intense and long lasting fragranced products to clean my skin. This body wash will fit my requirements very well.

I do recommend this body wash, but just know the fragrance could fade depending on the user’s skin oils. Still, it is a pretty, light scent that is feminine. I also think this scent will be best for the spring and summer.

That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
