Wicked Part 1 Mini Backpacks at Walmart

Musicals have been a major part of my life. I grew up watching musicals. As a teen, I used to listen to soundtracks to musicals just as much as any other singer or band I liked. As an adult, I had to let go of my passion for musicals due to adult obligations. Yet, I still try to keep up to date with what musicals are currently playing on Broadway.

One of the musical soundtracks I enjoyed listening to as a teen was Wicked. I loved Glinda, but I always felt like my life was more like Elphaba. Because of my love for both characters, I always have a hard time picking the kind of merchandise I like more.

In November, part 1 of the movie version of Wicked will be released. I really enjoy looking at the merchandise inspired by the movie and deciding which ones I like the most. One of the most fun items I found was the mini backpacks inspired by the movie.

Here are the two backpacks just as I found them at Walmart…

I moved the backpacks to my cart to take clearer photographs of them.

The one on the left is inspired by Elphaba and the one on the right is inspired by Glinda. Wicked is inspired by the Wizard of Oz by L Frank Baum. Elphaba is the Wicked Witch of the West while Glinda is the Good Witch of the North.

The Elphaba inspired backpack has a black silouette design of Elphaba and a green opalescent background…

The bag has one large compartment that zips closed from the top. The zipper pull has the logo for the movie on it…

As for the Glinda backpack, it looks like this…

The backpack has a pink opalescent body with Glinda’s crown and the words So Popular! embroidered on the front pocket. The zipper pull on the front pocket has the logo for the movie Wicked on it, but it has a pink background…

Between the two backpacks, I prefer the one inspired by Glinda. I like the shade of pink it is made out of and the fact it has a front pocket with a zipper on it.

That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
