Home Goods Haul- June 2024

In June, I decided to go shopping for some new home decor. I didn’t want to buy a lot of new things. Just something to add to my decor. One of the stores I decided to shop at was Home Goods.

While shopping there, I found a lot of pretty and cute things. Yet, it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. After searching through the store, I found a frame that I liked and a kitchen towel set. Since purchasing both items last month, I used both items a lot. Even though my haul during my shopping trip wasn’t large, I am happy with the items I purchased!

This is what the frame and kitchen towels looked like when I brought them home…

The first item in this haul is the kitchen towels…

The towels are part of the Williamsburg Kitchen Collection and are made out of 100% American grown cotton. The set comes with three towels. Two of the towels have patriotic stars printed on them and one blue/grey waffle towel…

I purchased the towels to replace another patriotic kitchen towel set I used to own. I was hesitant to buy the set because the towels with stars have a white background. My towels normally have a very hard life and could be exposed to food that stains white towels. After using the towels for weeks, I really like them! The white towels show dirt easier than the blue towel, but everything that has gotten on them has washed out. Both the white and blue towels absorb water well and dry easily as well.

The second and last item in this haul is this picture frame…

This frame is a Laura Ashley frame and it is 8 inches by 10 inches. I was considering a Laura Ashley frame for months, but I didn’t feel comfortable purchasing one. The ones I was looking at was available on Amazon, which means I can’t see it in person. A friend of mine suggested I try Home Goods and Marshall’s for a frame. I did see on that caught my eye at Marshall’s, but this one is nicer and prettier. It also has one of my favorite flowers on the frame! As for the price, it is about ten or more dollars cheeper than the ones I saw on Amazon. Although the ones on Amazon may be higher quality, I still love this frame. Now I need to find a picture to put inside it!
