Bath and Body Works Semi Annual Sale Haul- June 2023

It’s that time of the year when Bath and Body Works holds their Semi Annual Sale! (Or as my friends and I like to call it, the Rubber Ducky Sale due to the sale’s rubber duck mascot!) This year, I didn’t anticipate purchasing anything. I don’t need anything, so why bother? I still decided to shop the sale and found some products I really did need! I am very excited about my purchases, so I decided to write a haul post for this seasons sale.

The first item I purchased from the sale is a bottle of Cucumber Melon shower gel…

Years ago, when I was really sick, I used to use Cucumber Melon body wash all the time. It was a light enough scent that I enjoyed, yet it contained ingredients I needed to wash with. Since then, Cucumber Melon has been retired. I have gone without it for many year and found new favorite shower gels in the Aromatherapy line.

This year marks Cucumber Melon’s 25th anniversary. Once I realized this, I decided to purchase a bottle of the shower gel. Even though I used this scent during a time in my life that was physically, mentally, and emotionally hard, I still enjoy the scent and all the small but happy memories I had during that time. Now that I am healthier, I hope to make more happy memories while smelling like Cucumber Melon! I am also considering going back to the store and purchase another bottle. Or two.

The second item I purchase is a bottle of Sun-Ripened Raspberry shower gel…

I remember buying and using a shower gel this scent, but I didn’t like it as much as Cucumber Melon. Today, I really, and I do mean really, like this scent! It has raspberry, strawberry, and vanilla scent notes. All three scent notes are ones I’m currently looking for in my beauty products. Seeing this one return for the semi annual sale made me really happy. I already purchased two bottles of it and, if I buy another bottle of Cucumber Melon, probably will purchase another.

The next item I purchase is Groovy Watermelon…

Groovy Watermelon is part of a collection of three or four (I don’t remember the exact number) scents in this year’s sale with a 1970’s inspired designs. I really liked the way Groovy Watermelon smelled, so I picked up a bottle of the shower gel.

The next item I purchase is a bottle of shower gel in the scent Fresh Jungle Rain…

I don’t remember smelling Fish Jungle Rain, but then again I kind of do. It smells familiar to me, yet I cannot place it. Still, it is a pleasant scent that made me want to purchase it. I decided to purchase the shower gel version of it.

The last items I purchased is a bottle of shower gel in the scent Firecracker Pop…

And a fine fragrance mist in the scent Firecracker Pop…

Both were not part of the sale, but I really wanted to purchase anyway! Firecracker Pop has a berry heavy scent. (Pun not intended!) I wanted it because is different than the other summer scent I own and has berries in it.
