As we inch ever closer to 2023, there is time to reflect on the past year and on our lives. For me, 2022 did not go as planned in any way, shape, or form. Even though it didn’t go as planned, there were many things that happened that made me realize there are things I wanted to do but won’t. In 2023, I would like to accomplish these things before the end of the year. Since the year is winding down, I picked five things I want to do in 2023 to talk about in a post for Blogmas.
Get My Vehicle Situation Sorted Out
My vehicle has been down for many months now. Recently, it came home from the shop after getting repaired, but there is still work that needs to be done on it. In addition to paint, I need to replace seat coverings, clean the inside of the vehicle some more, and fix some more problems with the mechanics of it. Right now it’s fine, and runs great, but it rides rough and needs suspension work.
Continue to Organize My Things Better
My things are a mess. I postponed organizing my things until 2023 so I could focus on decluttering with a less stressed mindset. Since 2023 is coming, I need to focus on organizing things again. I plan on starting with the home office. I already have office organizers ready to be used. I just need to figure out what I want to be organized and where.
Wear My Wigs More Often
For the past year, I struggled to wear my wigs. I didn’t want to wear them at all. Even though my hair is getting its color back and is growing back really well, I know if I want to look the way I want to hair wise, I’ll need to wear a wig. So, in 2023, I’m going to start to wear wigs again. I don’t plan on wearing them all the time, but some of the time.
Wear Makeup and Sunscreen More Often
Since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, I stopped wearing so much makeup. This past year, I became very lazy about wearing sunscreen. (I didn’t go anywhere during the summertime, which helped.) In 2023, I know I will be going more places during the summer. Because of this, I want to start wearing makeup and sunscreen again. I miss wearing makeup and sunscreen is important to skin care. This is why I need to start wearing both more often.
Actually Travel Somewhere (Even If It is A Day Trip)
I haven’t gone anywhere for fun for many years. Even prior to the pandemic, I didn’t go anywhere for fun. Usually for work or to run errands. In 2023, I want to go somewhere for fun. No need to stress about anything except enjoying the trip. I don’t think I will travel somewhere far away, but I would like to go somewhere for a day trip. It would be nice to just get away for a while and not stress about all the things I need to do while there.
