Innisfree Pore Clearing Exfoliating Clay Peel Off Mask Review
A few months ago, I purchased many items during the Sephora VIB sale. Along with everything I purchased, I purchased a tube of Innisfree Pore Clearing Exfoliating Clay Peel Off Mask. At the time, I wanted to buy a new pore clearing product, so I bought it and decided to give it a try.The box and the tube the product comes in looks like this…
This product is supposed to work like a pore strip. When the product comes out the tube, it is a gel consistency. When it is applied to the face, it drys and becomes solid. When the product is dry and solid, you peel it off the product and with it, the blackheads from the pores.
I purchased this product to apply to the pores on my face that I struggle to remove blackheads from. This product works pretty well for my larger pores and often pulls out blackheads from largest pores that I already cleaned. It does work on my middle sized pores but on my smallest sized pores, it doesn’t pull nearly as much out of my pores as a Bore pore strip. Because of this, I like this product for cleaning my largest pores after using my Bore strips.
The product dries quickly and works well on large pores. This product will not work so well on medium sized pores and small sized pores. Also, it’s hard to figure out the right amount of product to apply in order to make it dry out and make a large patch to peel off. There are times when I applied too little of the product and it dried out quickly, but it didn’t peel off well nor did it adhere to the blackheads enough to pull them up. When I applied too much, the product stayed gel like and didn’t try all the way. This cause the product to not adhere to the blackheads and couldn’t pull them off either. Also, this forced me to wash my face off in order to get the product out of my pores and clog them even further.
If you are interested in this product, I highly recommend practice and patience when learning to use this product. I also believe using an applicator for gel masks and face mask in general to help apply the product evenly and easier than using hands and fingers. I also found pulling the product off the skin after it dries can be hard to do. I usually rub the edge of the area I applied the mask to in one direction before pulling it off my skin.
Despite these drawbacks, I really do like this product. It’s a great alternative to pore strips and would be great for anyone with larger pores that are looking to clean them more throughly than with strips. Also, this mask would be great for anyone looking for a blackhead removal product that can fit around nose shapes that normal pore strips cannot.
Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for now!
