Aveeno Eczema Therapy Daily Moistening Cream Review

On of my new year’s resolutions for 2022 is to be more proactive about finding and using products that are hypoallergenic. Since my allergies are triggered by the area where I live, I’m always at risk for an allergic reaction no matter what time of the year it is. In order to help myself reduce the problems caused by my allergy triggers, I decided to search for products that I can use no matter if I have a good allergy day or bad allergy day.

While searching for products, I came across the Aveeno Eczema Therapy Daily Moisturizing Cream. It looked promising, so I picked up a tube to see if I like it.

On the front of the tube, it says that the cream has Colloidal Oatmeal and Ceramide. It also says it is steroid free and fragrance free as well as having the stamp of approval from the National Eczema Association. On the back, the cream is meant to provide 24 hours of moisturizing and is meant to help relieve symptoms of eczema and prevent dry patches from forming.

Like I already mentioned, I am looking for products to be hypoallergenic and I can use them no matter if I have a good or bad allergy day. I do not have eczema, but I have found many of my favorite hypoallergenic skin care products have the stamp of approval from the National Eczema Association and/or are advertised as being safe for eczema suffers to use. Because of this, I will be focusing on how well the product worked on me, a non-eczema suffer that has serious allergies.

After using the cream steadily for a few weeks, I’m really happy with it. It hydrates my skin very well and doesn’t irritate my skin. I didn’t notice any problem with my skin and any of the ingredients in the cream. The cream itself is also not thick and spreads onto the skin easily. I really like the texture of it, which is a cross between a gel and actual cream.

Even though I like the cream, I was surprised in how it helped my skin when I had allergic reactions. Whenever I have an allergic reaction, I suffer from serious dry skin. This is something that I’ve struggled with since I was a girl, but couldn’t do much to remedy. This cream provided enough hydration to remedy the dry skin from allergies.

I highly recommend this cream to anyone who wants a lotion or cream with extra hydration without a fragrance or steroid. I also recommend this cream to anyone who suffers from serious allergies and wants a hypoallergenic lotion or cream. Like I said before, I don’t know how well it works for anyone with eczema, but I would suggest anyone curious about it to try it. I think this cream could help some with eczema, depending on the severity of eczema and if there is an allergy to some of the ingredients in the cream.
