Recent Additions to My Vinyl Record Collection- September 2020

I love owning and playing vinyl records, but I don’t have a large collection that I feel comfortable playing. Most of my collection is made up of vintage, original print vinyl records that can be played, but I’m worried about ruining them but don’t. Because of this, I decided to try to collect vinyl records that are reprints of certain albums or of newer albums that I can purchase very easily.

Over the past few months, I found a few albums I would like to own on vinyl. Although I didn’t buy them at the same time, I’m very happy to own them and wanted to talk about them in a post.

The first album is Neil Diamond All-Time Greatest Hits…

I wanted a Neil Diamond vinyl album for years, but the only ones I could find are original records and are very expensive. Earlier this year while browsing Target’s website, I found this album and I was extremely excited to see it for sale.

The version I purchased is from Target and is a limited edition with two crystal clear LPs.

The next album is the Top Gun soundtrack…

I really like the music from Top Gun so much I debated if I should I purchased the whole entire album on CD. While browsing Walmart’s vinyl record section, I found the soundtrack on vinyl. Although I love the music from the movie, I didn’t buy it right away because at that time I was unsure if I wanted, or should, collect more vinyl records. After months of walking buy it, I finally decided to pick one up.

This album is a Walmart exclusive and the LP are red.

The last album I purchased recently is Adele’s 21…

After buying the last two albums, I began to make a list of all the albums I would like to own on vinyl. Adele’s 21 and 25 are the ones that made my list, but after searching for the album on Amazon, the Adele albums were either sold out or unavailable. So I decided to wait to go to Target and buy it there.

While shopping at Walmart, I found 21 in the vinyl record section of the store. I didn’t buy it right away because I live in Arizona, it was hot that day, and I didn’t want it to melt in the vehicle. A few days later, I bought it on a day when I could get it home safely.

Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
