Dior Make Up Haul- September 2018

In September, I discovered Macy’s had a beauty sale on Dior beauty. I wanted to try Dior makeup for quite some time, but never took the opportunity to purchase any. I almost purchased some Dior makeup during Sephora’s fall VIB sale, but the Sephora I was at did not have the makeup I wanted. When I saw Macy’s sale included Dior makeup, I decided to pick up the makeup I had my eye on for months.

The first item I picked out is Dior’s Addict Lip Sugar Scrub…

This is my far my favorite item in this haul. I heard great things about the lip scrub and wanted to try it, but never purchased it. I’m so happy I did! It smells like spearmint, which I favor over peppermint, and I do notice a difference in the condition of my lips. I would like to look for a less costly alternative to this lip scrub, but, since I love this one so much, I have yet to search for one.

The second item I picked out is Diorshow Brow Styler…

After discovering my Soap and Glory Archer Brow Crayon was too light for my eyebrow color, I searched for a darker eyebrow pencil. I found a few in the colors I wanted, but I never purchased one until I found the Diorshow Brow Styler. It comes in a range of colors, including black. After dwelling over which color to purchase, I picked black. I’m a brunette and I needed an eyebrow pencil that would create shading. Since my hair is a medium/dark brunette color, it’s hard to find an eyebrow pencil or crayon dark enough for me.

I have yet to try the Brow Styler, but I did a swatch on my skin and liked the consistency and color. I’m very excited to start using the Brow Styler!

The last item I picked is Dior Rogue Lipstick…

I received a Dior Rogue lipstick sample in a Sephora Beauty Insider rewards, but I wanted to try another color. I found this Double Rogue metallic lipstick in the color Dressed to Kill and decided to try it.

In addition to the make up, I also received some free samples and a free gift. The samples included a sample of Dior’s new fragrance Joy…

And Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ulta Long Wear Foundation…

The gift I received is a Dior make up brush bag…

I’m so happy to own this brush bag. I don’t have a brush bag and wanted to look into purchasing one, but when I saw this bag was free with purchases during the Dior sale, I was happy. I’m unsure if the bag is one I want to use on a daily basis, but I am glad I have a bag anyway.
