Kate Spade New York x Target Collection In Store Exclusives

I was really excited to see this. I really like Kate Spade New York and wished Target would do a collaboration with them for many years. Although I love their products, I don’t always like the price. Since they can be out of my price range, I always hoped for a Target collaboration in order to purchase more price friendly items. To see this collaboration come true makes me very happy!

That being said, I have a lot of thoughts about the collection. It is a really large collection, so I decided to talk about my thoughts in future posts dedicated to specific things in the collection.

For my first post about the collection, I wanted to talk about the in-store exclusive items.

AQUA x The White Lotus at Bloomingdales Collection Favorites (As a Non Fan of The Series)

As you have probably read by the title of this post, I’m not a fan of the series The White Lotus. When people describe themselves as “not a fan” of something, it can me different things. For me, I didn’t watch The White Lotus, so I think it’s dumb of me to to claim to be a fan of a series without actually watching it.

Despite this, The White Lotus is popular and currently has three seasons. In honor of the release of the third season, clothing brand AQUA created a collection inspired by The White Lotus. It is also available only at Bloomingdale’s.

For the past few weeks, I received emails from Bloomingdale’s about the collection. Since I don’t watch the show, I initially passed on looking at the collection. Recently, out of curiosity, I decided to browse it to see if there were things I’d want to own if I was a fan of The White Lotus. Much to my surprise, I did find clothing, shoes, and accessories that caught my eye and would wear no matter if I am a fan or not. I decided to compile all my favorite items in the collection in a post to talk about what I like about them.

Lost Pattern NYC x Sephora Skinny Silk Scarf Feature

For many years, I have admired scarves. No matter what they are made out of, I like finding ones that have interesting designs and work for different seasons. Over the years, I have collected scarves that. can be used for different seasons. Recently, I decided to search for scarves that can be used for the spring and summer time.

Ironically, Sephora debuted a collection of scarves. They are a collaboration with the brand Lost Pattern NYC and are available to Sephora’s Beauty Insider rewards program. The scarves come in two different designs and cost 500 and 750 reward points each. I was really drawn to the skinny silk scarf, which cost 500 points. During a recent order from Sephora, I decided to purchase the scarf with my rewards points. You can read more about the order and my haul in this post.

Wicked Part 1 Mini Backpacks at Walmart

Musicals have been a major part of my life. I grew up watching musicals. As a teen, I used to listen to soundtracks to musicals just as much as any other singer or band I liked. As an adult, I had to let go of my passion for musicals due to adult obligations. Yet, I still try to keep up to date with what musicals are currently playing on Broadway.

One of the musical soundtracks I enjoyed listening to as a teen was Wicked. I loved Glinda, but I always felt like my life was more like Elphaba. Because of my love for both characters, I always have a hard time picking the kind of merchandise I like more.

In November, part 1 of the movie version of Wicked will be released. I really enjoy looking at the merchandise inspired by the movie and deciding which ones I like the most. One of the most fun items I found was the mini backpacks inspired by the movie.

Modern Moments x Harry Potter Children’s Sweater Collection at Walmart

During a recent trip to Walmart, I found what I think are the cutest sweaters I’ve seen in quite a while. They are part of the Modern Moments x Harry Potter collection and are available at Walmart. All the sweaters are for children and come in sizes 12 months to 5 T. They are also unisex sizes. The timing of the release of this collection is perfect for fall/Halloween time.

They were too cute not to stop by and take pictures of them… and wish they came in adult sizes as well!

Book Review: Audrey Hepburn: The Illustrated World of a Fashion Icon by Megan Hess

Earlier this year, I wrote a review of Megan Hess’ Grace Kelly: The Illustrated Wold of a Fashion Icon. You can read that post here. In that post, I mentioned I planned on writing a review about Megan Hess’ book about Audrey Hepburn. I planned to write and publish the post during the summer, but I never got around to it!

Since the Emmys will be this weekend, and Audrey was an Emmy winner, I decided to save the book review post until now!

New Target Future Collective Collection- August 2024

In September 2022, Target began the Future Collective. The Future Collective is a Target owned brand that carries fashionable clothing by a rotating group of what Target calls “style and cultural influencers with diverse points of view in fashion.” You can read more about the Future Collective on Target’s website here and here.

On August 25, 2024, Target will release a new collection. I wanted to talk about the new Future Collective collections since it was announced in 2022, but I didn’t. This time, I want to talk about it!

Marshall’s Haul- June 2024

In June, I decided to go on a shopping trip to Marshall’s. I wanted to purchase some new 4th of July decorations I had my eye on as well as browse for anything else that may catch my eye. Once my shopping trip was over, I walked out of the store with four items: The 4th of July decorations I wanted, a hair accessory, and a new bag. My 6 Summer Fashion Essentials

Temperatures are warming up, which means it the time to wear summer appropriate clothes! I live in Arizona, where temperatures can reach well over 100 degrees Ferenhegt (). Some places temperatures can reach over 115 degrees! This means it is extra important to dress for the weather.

Over the years, I started to notice some go-to fashion pieces during the summer. Some of these fashion pieces are normally associated with summer, such as sandals, but there are some things I don’t think are common for other people. Still, I really enjoy wearing them and often associate them with the summer months.

For this post, I wanted to list six summer fashion essentials I normally wear. There are a few more, but generally speaking, these six are my go-to staples in my summertime wardrobe.
