Some of the Fragrances I Don’t Like Anymore (And Why I Don’t Like Them)- September 2025
The clean out of my stuff continues, just slower than I want it to go. Yet, progress, no matter how small, is still progress!
Some of the progress I was able to make is to decide which fragrances I want get rid of. I still have a lot I want to get through, but right now I’m happy with my collection as it is right now. As for some of the fragrances I’m getting rid of, there are some I wanted to talk about in a post, but are not special enough to me to dedicate a separate post to them. So, I decided to dedicate a whole post to some of the fragrances I no longer like and why I don’t like them anymore. (Also, I’m really disappointed that I no longer like some of them anymore. Some of them are expensive when I bought them. I hoped they would be fragrances I could keep and enjoy, but they aren’t.)
Here are the fragrances I don’t like anymore and the reasons why…
Abercrombie & Fitch Woman Eau de Parfum
I bought this fragrance at Marshalls. At that time, I was searching for a fragrance by Abercrombie and Fitch, but I couldn’t remember the name. I found this fragrance for a pretty good price, so I bought it. After I smelled it, I knew it wasn’t the fragrance I was searching for and absolutely hated it.
DKNY Be Delicious Ice Pop Berry Bliss Fragrance Mist
I used to love DKNY’s Be Delicious fragrance (It was one of my most favorite fragrances to wear), but I haven’t worn it many years. After searching for it, I also found the Be Delicious Ice Pop Berry Bliss. I liked the scent notes, so I purchased the fragrance mist (It was cheaper) and decided to give it a try. I don’t know what it is about Berry Bliss, but I have problems wearing it. The scent seems to aggravate my allergies. I don’t know which part of the fragrance that causes the problem, but it does. I’m really disappointed in it. Fortunately, the original Be Delicious fragrance doesn’t bother me.
Bath and Body Work’s Midnight Amber Glow Perfume
Midnight Amber Glow seemed to be a really popular scent, but after giving it many chances, I never really liked it. I think it is a great scent, but not for me.
Jo Malone’s Peony and Blush Suede Cologne
I bought a smaller bottle of Jo Malone’s Peony and Blush Suede a few years ago. It was recommended to me by a friend of mine. To be honest, I felt on the fence about it. To me, it smelled feminine, but robust. Today, I don’t like it very much. I know my favorite scents and sadly, Peony and Blush Suede is not one of them. I still like peonies and sometimes suede in fragrances. Just not this one.
Kat von D’s Sinner Eau de Parfum
Kat von D is a taboo person, but back before she became taboo, she released two fragrances I liked: Saint and Sinner. Today, I still own bottles of them, but I prefer Saint much more than Sinner. I can’t pinpoint why I don’t like Sinner, but Saint’s scent notes are more in alignment with the type of fragrance I enjoy wearing.
That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
