Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner Review

Last year, I decided to purchase a few products I used to use. I discontinued using the products for a variety of reasons, but sometimes I wonder if I want to keep a smaller size of the product in my collection in case I want/need to use it. One of the products I decided to purchase and try again was Fresh’ s Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner.

I used to use it, but I stopped using it party because I wanted to reduce the amount of facial products I was using and partly because I wasn’t using it enough to justify owning it. During a shopping trip at Ulta Beauty, I found a travel sized version of the bottle. The Rose Facial Toner was one of the products I wanted to try, so I purchased up the travel sized bottle and began to use it.

This is what the travel size bottle looks like…

It holds 3.36 oz of the facial toner. This bottle is made out of plastic while the full sized bottle is made out of glass. The cap of this bottle is just like the full sized one: It is a screw on cap and it is made out of metal.

Once the cap is off, it looks like this…

On the top, it has another cap with a hole on it…

This is to allow the liquid to come out of the bottle without the rose fruit fragments coming out as well. (There are fragments of rose fruit in every size of the facial toner.)

After using the facial toner for a few months, I can see it as a useful addition to my beauty collection. I have combination/oily skin, which makes it hard to find hydrating skin products that will not clog my pores easily or make my skin fill more oily than it normally does. The Rose Facial Toner takes off all the impurities on my skin without making it feel oily or dehydrated. Another thing I love about this facial toner is that it cuts through films that can build up on a person’s skin. It does this really well on my skin. I usually need to use rubbing alcohol, which isn’t good for repeated use on the skin. Sadly, it is the only thing that can strip my skin of the films that build up on my skin. (These films sometimes come from my job, which can require me to work outside in the heat.) The Rose Facial Toner does not strip my skin as well as alcohol, but it works really well to give my skin a break.

To be honest, I love a lot of things about this facial toner. This is why it is so hard for me to focus on the negative parts of it. For a higher priced facial toner, the travel size didn’t cost a lot. (I believe it cost $12 USD) That said, prices for everything are going up, so I don’t know how consistent the toner’s price is. It does contain hyaluronic acid, which can be an irritant for anyone with sensitive skin or people that just suffered a sun burn. (I sometimes have sensitive skin due to a skin condition, so this is something I pay attention to)

Despite these drawbacks, I still recommend it. The travel sized bottle is perfect for me because of how often I use it. Also, I found I needed a few drops of the toner on a cotton ball to remove the film from my face. Because of this, my bottle has lasted me months. If someone were to use it everyday, which I don’t, it won’t last as long.

That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
