The Creme Shop x Pusheen Candy Glaze Lip Oil Review

For the past few months, I’ve been diligently working my way through my stash of beauty products. So far everything is going well, but there are some products that I have enjoyed more than others. One of these products is The Creme Shop x Pusheen Candy Glaze Lip Oil.

As I type this, I’m nearing the end of my tube of oil. Since I have used it so much, I believe this would be a great time to write a review post about it.

This is what the lip oil looked like when it was brand new and still in the package…

This is what the back of the packaging describes the lip oil as…

And here is what the tube looks like from the front…

And from the back…

The lip oil has a large applicator that captures a lot of oil…

The lip oil is a dark maroon red color, which is one of the reasons why I was so curious about this lip oil. I wondered how dark and opaque the shade would be when worn. I was quite surprised to see it wasn’t opaque but more shear.

This is how shear it looks like on my skin…

Sadly, the shade of the lip oil does not look right in the photograph. In real life, it looks similar to way it looks in the photographs of the tube of oil.

I really like this shade. It is a maroon shade, but, because it is a lip oil, it isn’t as strong as a lipstick or highly pigmented lip gloss. It had a purple/blue undertone, but it also has a pink hue to it. There is also small flecks of glitter in the oil, making it shine a little bit more than it would if it was just the oil. I think the shade looks really nice against my skin tone and I really like the shine of the oil.

The lip oil lasts on my lips about an hour if I don’t eat or drink. After that I noticed it begins to wear off the innermost part of my lips. I personally don’t mind this because it is a lip oil and I usually use it to not only add color to my lips, but hydrate them. I really like how well it hydrates my lips and leaves them soft even after the oil wears off or I wipe it off. The oil is sticky, which could be a problem for some. I don’t always mind how sticky it is, but there were days when it felt weird on my lips.

Overall I really like this lip oil. It creates a pretty glass shine on my lips and keeps them hydrated. The color is really pretty and I really like the Pusheen illustration on the tube. If you don’t like sticky lip glosses or oils, then you may not like it. If it isn’t a problem, then I highly recommend it!

That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
