AQUA x The White Lotus at Bloomingdales Collection Favorites (As a Non Fan of The Series)

As you have probably read by the title of this post, I’m not a fan of the series The White Lotus. When people describe themselves as “not a fan” of something, it can me different things. For me, I didn’t watch The White Lotus, so I think it’s dumb of me to to claim to be a fan of a series without actually watching it.

Despite this, The White Lotus is popular and currently has three seasons. In honor of the release of the third season, clothing brand AQUA created a collection inspired by The White Lotus. It is also available only at Bloomingdale’s.

For the past few weeks, I received emails from Bloomingdale’s about the collection. Since I don’t watch the show, I initially passed on looking at the collection. Recently, out of curiosity, I decided to browse it to see if there were things I’d want to own if I was a fan of The White Lotus. Much to my surprise, I did find clothing, shoes, and accessories that caught my eye and would wear no matter if I am a fan or not. I decided to compile all my favorite items in the collection in a post to talk about what I like about them.

The first items I liked from the collection are two sweatshirts.

The first one is navy blue and has The White Lotus logo on it…

It costs $78 USD.

The second one is white (Or maybe off white?), has another logo for The White Lotus, and has the phrase “The Guests are Never Wrong” embroidered on it…

This sweatshirt costs $78 USD.

I think the idea for these sweatshirts are cute. It gives fans the ability to wear something inspired by the show that was created for fan, yet it is a more understated. I personally like for-fans inspired merchandise like these sweatshirts for this reason.  If someone was unaware of fact that The White Lotus is a show, not an actual resort, they would not know the difference.

Aside from the sweatshirts, the rest of the collection are way more understated. Such as this dress that I really like…

This dress, called Palm Print Maxi Dress, is $128. The dress is made from a blue and navy printed fabric. I really can’t see any references to the series worked into the fabric print. Even though I don’t watch the series, I love this dress enough to want to wear it during the summertime.

Another clothing item I love is this skirt…

The skirt is called Monkey Print Mid Skirt and costs $98 USD. The print is not one I would normally pick for a summer skirt, but I like the monkeys on it. (If you are a fan of the monkey design, they have a shirt with the design available as well) It sets it apart from other skirts in this style. As for the style of this skirt, tiered skirts are one of my favorite skirt styles to wear. This only adds to how much I like this skirt.

The next item I like from this collection are these shoes…

These shoes are called Women’s Platform Sandals and cost $128 USD. They come in two shades: Dark Brown and Natural Raffia. I like the dark brown shade more. During the summer, I like a nice platform sandal. These are in the right style for the type of shoes I’d like to wear.

The last item I love from the collection is this raffia handbag…

The handbag, called Monkey Scarf Woven Basket tote, costs $98 USD. I like the style of the bag and the inclusion of the monkey design in the scarf.
