Kate Spade New York First Snow 2020 Tree Ornament by Lenox

Kate Spade New York is one of my favorite fashion brands. Although the style of their bags can sometimes be out of my fashion comfort zone, I still enjoy browsing their website and looking at all the designs available for that season. I especially love their home wears and own multiple items from their home collections!

This year, I decided to purchase new ornaments that are not from Hallmark. I wanted to focus on crystal and ceramic ornaments, but they must be within a certain price range. On a whim, I decided to search for Kate Spade New York ornaments. I was surprised to find an ornament I loved but passed over years ago. It was for sale for a really good price, a price well within my price range, so I decided to purchase it.

The ornament is called First Snow and was originally for sale in 2020. It was created by Lenox, another brand I really like, especially their ornaments! There are three ornaments in the 2020 First Snow collection. The one I choose was in the shape of a Christmas tree.

The colors of the box are the same signature colors of Kate Spade New York.

On the back of the box, there is a picture of the ornament, the name and year of the ornament, and any other information about it…

Inside the box, there are cards about the ornament from Kate Spade New York and Lenox company…

The ornament comes inside the box surrounded by a protective foam. The foam is a black, making it hard to see and photograph.

I really love this ornament! It is a crystal ornament with two rhinestones inlaid in the tree. It is a modern and minimalist look, which is a design style I don’t always like. Yet, as with anything I own from Kate Spade New York, it looks really good. The crystal captures the light really well and the two rhinestones just add an additional pazzazz that mades it stand out and look very much a Kate Spade design.

The ornament comes with a dark green grosgrain ribbon to hang it on the tree…

Attached to the ribbon are two gold tags. One gives the date of the ornament, 2020, and the brand that created the ornament, Lenox…

I really love this ornament. To me, it a perfect Kate Spade style captured in ornament form. There are two other ornament in the First Snow 2020 collection, a key and a snowflake. Since they are older ornaments, it is possible to find them for sale for less than what they would be if they were current year. Still, there is a chance they may be harder to find and may eventually cost more than what I paid, which was less than $25.
