Makeup Revolution x Fortnite Cuddle Team Leader Shadow Palette Review

EDIT: This post was not finished when I published it. I have since updated it with my normal introduction about the pallet and other information I wanted to mention. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused!

A few weeks ago, I talked about the Makeup Revolution x Fortnite makeup and beauty collection. I liked the collection, but I purchased one item from the collection. The item I purchased was the Cuddle Team Leader Shadow Palette. After shopping at my closest Walmart, I saw the collection is still available to purchase. This may not be the case for all Walmarts, but it is for mine. So, if you are interested in owning the pallet, I recommend looking for it.

Even though I purchased one item from the collection, I really liked it. I wanted to write a review for it since I purchased it in May. Recently, I had some time to sit down and write one!

This is what the pallet looked like in store…

The pallet has a plastic covering that slides off…

The pallet when open…

The pallet comes with a large mirror to help with applying the shadow. I really like it when eye shadow pallets come with a mirror. It is more economical for makeup companies to not include a mirror, but I personally enjoy them. It helps me when I apply the shadow.

Here are the colors in the pallet…

And finally, here are all the colors swatched on my arm…

I haven’t included swatch photographs in my posts before. If you like them, let me know!

As a reference, I have a blue/neutral skin tone. My skin tone depends on the amount of sun and how dark my skin has tanned. Also, the swatches are from one swipe from my fingers.

Overall, I am very pleased with the pallet. The colors coordinate the way I expect a well thought out eye shadow pallet would. All the colors look good against my skin tone, which was a worry for me. The pigmentation of the eye shadows is really good for the price point. I have had better, but those pallets are well above the $12 USD price of this pallet.

The metallic shadows are really good too. They are pigmented enough to add a shine, but aren’t overpowering as other metallic eye shadows can be. I believe the best eye shadows in this pallet with the best amount of coverage are the darker shades. These are the most pigmented and, after swiping them on my arm, they blended well. Sadly, the lighter shades are not as pigmented.

Overall, I really like the Cuddle Team pallet a lot. It looks good on my skin tone and blend well. Even though the lighter shades are not as pigmented, I still like the way they blend. Also, depending on the right eye look, the lighter shades may not be a problem to use. If you or someone you know is seriously looking into purchasing the pallet, I recommend it. For $12 USD, I really like the eye shadow formula a lot.

Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
