Personal To-Do Goals for 2023

This time of year, people, including myself, reflect on the past year and what they did or didn’t do in hopes of looking forward to the new year when they can make changes to their lives. For 2023, I have no official resolutions, but I do have some personal goals I would like to accomplish for the year. Some of them are focused more on personal well being while others are things I do every year, but I wanted to write them down in this post.

Try to By Myself New Clothes

I really need some new clothes. I don’t need a whole new wardrobe of clothes, but I do need new clothes for office work. For the past few months, I looked at my old clothes to see if my old office work clothes still fit me. They didn’t, so I need to buy myself new clothes. I have plans to sew myself new clothes, but I still want to purchase a few pieces. I don’t know if I will find what I’m looking for, but I want to try.

Sew Myself More Clothes

Like I already mentioned, I want to sew myself some new work clothes. In addition to them, I also want to make myself some new spring and summer clothes. I want to make cute tops, skirts, and light weight dresses. I have the patterns to make the clothes and some of the fabric. I just need time to make them.

Finish A Quilt Before the End of the Year

I started making a quilt in early 2022, but I never finished it. In 2023, I plan on finishing the quilt. I don’t know if I will have time to sew another quilt and clothes, but I hope I can. I have several different ideas for quilts. I really enjoyed making the 2022 one, so I’m optimistic I can make another by the end of 2023. Possibly a Christmas quilt!

Sketch Personal Art More

I didn’t have a lot of time to sketch personal art this year. I want to take more time to sketch. I hope to improve my sketching before year’s end. My real life sketching has become very bad!

Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
