5 Joe Malone London Fragrances I Would Like to Try

I really like Jo Malone London fragrances, but for the past five years I’ve been very cautious about the kind of fragrances I wear. There are several reasons why I did this, but the main reason is due to my allergies and my growing understanding about what triggers them and what does not. This year, I wanted to try some Jo Malone London fragrances I used to like or peaked my interest and see if they don’t affect my allergies like other fragrances do. For this post, I selected five fragrances that I want to try the most and talk about why I want to try them.

Earl Grey and Cucumber

When I looked through my list of fragrances I wanted to try, Earl Grey and Cucumber sounded like it could be a future favorite. I sometimes really like fragrances with earl grey and cucumber scents, but the Jo Malone version is one I’m unsure of. It contains musk, a scent note I usually don’t like and aggravates my allergies. Because of this, I’m unsure if I will like it. I still want to try it before I’m 100% certain about it. The website describes Earl Grey and Cucumber as…

A British tradition…afternoon tea. A fragrance with a burst of bergamot, distinct to Earl Grey, and the cool succulence of crunchy cucumber. Counterpoised with a sweet base of beeswax, vanilla and musk. Reviving and refined

Blackberry and Bay

I remember loving the scent Blackberry and Bay, but I don’t remember exactly how it smells! This is why I’m very serious about trying it. The Jo Malone website describes Blackberry and Bay as…

Childhood memories of blackberry picking…A burst of deep, tart blackberry juice, blending with the freshness of just-gathered bay and brambly woods. Vibrant and verdant.

Red Roses

I love rose scented fragrances, but most rose scented products I’ve tried smell odd and aggravate my allergies. It’s been quite a while since I smelled Jo Malone’s fragrance Red Rose, but I remember liking it and enjoying wearing it. Because of this, I want to try Red Roses again to see if it is a fragrance I would like to purchase and have in my perfume collection. The website describes Red Roses as…

The essence of modern romance. Inspired by a voluptuous blend of seven of the world’s most exquisite roses. With crushed violet leaves and a hint of lemon, it unfolds like a bouquet of freshly cut flowers. Clear and romantic

Wild Bluebell

Just like Blackberry and Bay scent, I remember liking Wild Bluebell, but can’t remember exactly what it smelled like. I would like to try it again and, if I like it a lot, I plan on adding it to my list of to-buy fragrances. The website describes Wild Bluebell as…

Vibrant sapphire blooms in a shaded woodland. The delicate sweetness of dewy bluebells suffused with lily of the valley and eglantine, and a luscious twist of persimmon. Mesmerising.

Orange Blossom

I love the scent of orange blossoms on orange trees, but the pollen from the blossoms always aggravated my allergies. I have a similar problem with perfumes made with orange blossoms, except a handful of expensive perfumes. I don’t remember the names of the fragrances, but I believe Orange Blossom from Jo Malone London is one of them. Because of this, I would like to try this fragrance and see if I remember it correctly. If I am, then I’ll look into buying a bottle of it to add to my collection. The website describes Orange Blossom as…

A shimmering garden oasis. Clementine flower sparkles over a heart of orange blossom and water lily, with warm undertones of orris and balsamic vetiver. Pure delight.

Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
