Bath and Body Works Watermelon Lemonade Shower Gel Review
September 16, 2020
It’s been a few weeks since I wrote a post reviewing a Bath and Body Works shower gel and in this time I already tried new body washes and feel ready to start talking about what I liked and what I didn’t like. The first shower gel I tried this time around is in the scent Watermelon Lemonade.
Here is what the bottle looks like…
I purchased this bottle in May from the online store. Watermelon Lemonade is a scent that is retired and, at that time, is only available online. As of September 2020, this scent is no long available on the website. Also, I finished using the body wash and threw away the bottle before I knew the scent is no longer available online. So, I cannot give the official Bath and Body Works description of the scent.
I love Watermelon Lemonade in Wallflower form, so when I saw it in shower gel form I wanted to try it. After trying this body wash, I can honestly say it does smell like Watermelon Lemonade. It does not favor the lemon or the watermelon scents, but falls somewhere in between. In addition to the two main scents, there are other scents mixed in including a floral scent that I don’t remember the name of. The body wash scent is different from the candle and Wallflower scents. I believe this was done to make the body wash scent more appropriate for wearing on the body while the candle and Wallflower scents are better suited for home fragrances.
I really loved this scent very much. It is a lighter scent that is perfect for the summertime. I also enjoyed the balance between the citrus and floral scents of the body wash. I love citrus and floral scented fragrances, but I have problems finding one with a good balance between the two scents. The body wash is a great blend between the two and I really enjoy it. I highly recommend this body wash if it comes back for sale at Bath and Body Works.
