November 2017 Sephora Haul Part 1

November was a crazy month for me so, even though I wanted to make a few haul posts last month, I was unable to sit down at the computer and write any of them. I originally thought I should write one post about my Spehora hauls throughout November, but I realized it would be too large. So, I decided to split the posts up into two parts.

I did not intend to post this near the end of December, but it ended up that way! So, here it is! The November 2017 Sephora haul Part 1!

In my first order in November, I ordered three lip glosses from Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. I wanted to try Fenty Beauty for a while but I couldn’t find anything that I wanted until I saw the Cosmic Gloss Lip Gloss from The Galaxy Collection.

I liked three of the four gloss colors, so I decided to order them.

I ordered Astro-Naughty…

Gal on the Moon…

And Plutonic Relationship…

The last color, Spacesuit, is a peach color. I thought it was pretty, but wouldn’t look good against my skin tone. So, I waited until later that month to order it.

As for the lip glosses, I love them! The glitter in them are very fine and give the lips a holographic look to them without an over the top look. I like to wear lip glosses, but I don’t like glosses that have too much sparkle and shine. These lip glosses have more shine than what I normally wear on a daily basis, but I don’t mind the look if I went to a party or went out for the night. The only drawback to the lip glosses are that they are sticky.  I don’t mind if my lip glosses are sticky (They seem to last longer for me), but I know others do not like sticky lip glosses like I do, so I wanted to mention it.

November is my birthday month so I got a birthday gift from Sephora! I picked the Tarte gift set, compiled of a mini Tartist lip paint and blush.

I have yet to try either product out for a whole entire day. Despite this, I love the color of the lip paint and really do need to try it out, but what I’m most interested in trying is the blush. I never tried any type of blush except powder blush. Since this is a cream blush, I’m interested in trying it out to see how I like it.

EDIT 12/27/2017: After playing with the birthday Tarte gift set a few days after writing this post, I discovered the blush was not a cream, but a powder. I’m sorry for any confusion this may have caused!

In addition to ordering the Tarte birthday gift, I also ordered a test size version of Dior’s Rogue lipstick. The lipstick was a reward points reward and it cost 100 beauty insider points to get. I didn’t mind because I wanted to try Dior’s cosmetics for months and this was the most budget friendly option for me right now.

There was only one color available, number 999 a blue red, and came in a sample size. I normally wear pink lipstick, lip gloss, and liquid lipsticks, but I wanted to try wearing reds every now and then. Probably not in my everyday life, but occasionally I’d like to wear it. Like with the lip paint, I have yet to try it out for an extended period of time so I cannot say how well it wears.

The final item I received in my package was this set of fragrance sample cards…

The fragrance card package came with five cards with different scents to try…

The fragrances cards included samples for Dior’s J’adore…

Victor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb…

Chloe’s Absolu de Parfum and Eau de Parfum…

Philosophy’s Amazing Grace…

And, finally, John Varvatos…

Even though I already know what Chloe’s Eau de Parfum and Philosophy’s Amazing Grace smells like, the rest of the fragrances I never smelled before. I think I’ll write another fragrance testing post about these new fragrance samples next month and talk about what I liked and didn’t like about each sample.

Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
