Squishmallows Fragrances at Ulta Beauty: Fragrance Details and My Opinion on Them (Without Smelling Them First)
A few weeks ago, Ulta Beauty announced that they are the only store that sells the newly released Squishmallow Fragrances. I was curious about them and what they smelled like. I was unable to go to an Ulta Beauty store and smell them, so I depended on Ulta Beauty’s website and the descriptions of each fragrance.
Since we are in November, it is a good time to start browsing for Christmas presents. Squishmallows are commonly collected by children, which makes me think the fragrances would be good for tweens, teens, and adults at heart. After pondering on this, I decided to write a post about what these fragrances are, details about them, and what I think about them. (Even though I haven’t smelled them yet)
All the information and product photographs are from Ulta Beauty’s website for each of the fragrances.
There are three fragrances in the collection. They are Whisked Away, Pink Possibilities, and Moonlight Mist. They are sold in a 1 oz and 3.4 oz sizes. There is also a three piece coffert set containing the three fragrances in a smaller size.

Ulta Beauty’s website says it is “Free Plush with brand purchase. One per customer. While quantities last.” As of this post I don’t know if they are still available.
So, what do I think about them and are they worthy of trying? In my opinion, I think they are worth trying. The bottles shaped like Squishmallows are super cute. If you are like me and like gourmand scents, then these fragrances are worth a smell. Their scent notes look really sweet and lovely. They are also quite youthful in scent and they can also be layered. As an adult, I am very interested in them!
The thing is, I’m too old to have grown up with Squishmallows. I just really like gourmand scents. I do wonder if the scents are more appropriate for younger women or teens. Since I never smelled them, I can’t say for sure. Yet, I know there will be girls that love Squishmallows will also want to buy and own the fragrances. Based off my previous experiences with other beauty products with a target audience of tweens and teens, this could be a potential problem. Especially since fragrances for tweens usually cost less than the 1 oz bottle. Yet, the 3.4 oz bottles cost less than the full sized versions of other fragrances I’m familiar with, such as LoveShackFancy’s fragrances. (They cost well over $100 USD for a full sized bottle.) Still, the modern day prices of everything (Including fragrances) are off from what everyone is familiar with due to the economy.
