Colourpop x Winx Club Ultra Glossy Lip Review- Musa

When I found out Colourpop would release a collaboration with the cartoon Winx Club, I was interested in what was available in the collection. The product that caught my eye was the Ultra Gloss Lip in the shade Musa. I ended up purchasing the shade Bloom, which I already reviewed here, as well as Musa.

The ultra lip glossies in the collection are named after each of the five main member of the Winx Club. Musa is one of the members of the original Winx Club.

There is an image of Musa in her magic fighting outfit on the side of the lip gloss box…

And there’s one of her in her normal clothes…

Like with Bloom’s lip gloss box, Musa’s name is printed and embossed on the side of the box…

This is what the lip gloss tube looks like…

And here is a swatch of it on the inside of my wrist…

And finally, here is what the applicator looks like…

Amazon’s listing for the gloss describes them as…

Come Join The Club – Five flawless finishes from 3-D pearl to sheer tinted colour, swipe on our hi-shine, smoothing (never sticky) lip gloss and prepare to be obsessed.

Why You’ll Luv It – Enriched with Jojoba Oil to help moisturize, nourish and provide a cushiony feel for juicy lips. Our lip glosses provide the perfect smoothing, super glossy finish that doesn’t feel sticky.

Why You Need It – You can apply multiple layers of gloss to achieve your desired coverage. Our brush applicator applies a perfect plush layer that looks and feels amazing.

I like this gloss a lot. It is a brighter shade of pink, more like a fuchsia, so it adds more color to my lips than Bloom, which is a light shade a of pink. Even though it adds more color to my lips, it is an opaque gloss. Since it is opaque, it adds a little bit of color without completely changing the lips’ natural shade. This will be different depending on the wearer’s skin tone and natural lip color.

Aside from the brighter shade of pink, the gloss also has gold glitter in it. To me, I like the gold in this shade than in Bloom. It suits my skin tone and the cool toned makeup I prefer to wear.

Also, the lip gloss performs just like Bloom does. It stays on the lips really well, it does rub off when drinking, but not as much as other glosses I own, and it smells really sweet.

I recommend this gloss to anyone who wants a fuchsia lip gloss with a gold shine to it. Since it is part of a limited edition collection, it would be worth looking for.
