Tree Hut Strawberry Shea Sugar Scrub Review
For years, I wanted to try all Tree Hut Sugar Scrubs they offer. Unfortunately, my skin problems prevented me from using all the products. Still, I am able to try scrubs I haven’t before.
One of the scrubs is Tree Hut’s Strawberry Shea Sugar Scrub. Although I intended on using it last year, I had to stop using it for a while due to unforeseen skin problems. Earlier this summer, I finished my container of it and formed some ideas and opinions about it.
Even though I took photographs of the container of the scrub before I used it, I misplaced them. Instead, here as a photograph of the scrub, but at Walmart…

The description of the scrub on Ulta Beauty’s website is…
Reveal glowing skin with Tree Hut Shea Sugar Body Scrub in the delectable scent of Strawberry. Made with sugar, shea butter, BHA, strawberry and an array of natural oils including evening primrose, avocado, macadamia, sweet almond, safflower and orange oils.
And here are the details about the scrub on Ulta’s website…

Overall, I really like this sugar scrub. I like strawberry scented beauty products, so I really enjoyed the scent. It did a good job as a scrub and removed dry skin without removing too much or leaving my skin raw. The texture of the scrub is really nice as well. It has fine grain sugar, causing it to dissolve in water much faster than other subs. Even though it dissolves faster than scrubs with larger grained sugar, I liked how gentle it was on the skin. It was more like a nice polishing of the skin instead of roughly removing dry skin.
Even though I enjoyed using the scrub and see so many benefits to using it, I still had trouble using it. At the time I decided to use it, I had a major eczema flare up that took months to calm down. The fine grain texture of this scrub was really nice and was very gentle on my skin. Still, it contained ingredients that aggravated my skin condition after repeated use over the course of weeks. This is mostly to do with my own personal allergies to certain foods and the sensitivities that I experienced during my flare up.
Despite my struggles with my skin problems and how my skin reacted to the scrub, I still really enjoyed it. I am disappointed I couldn’t enjoy it as much as I hoped I would, but I really enjoyed the texture and scent of it. If you don’t have the same skin problems I do and are curious about it, I highly recommend trying scrub!
That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
