Sarah J. Maas Book Haul

Over the past few months, I’ve been slowly buying Sarah J. Maas books. I’m not sure if I will like them, especially since they are known for their spicy romance scenes. Since I don’t like to read a lot of books with spicy romance scenes (I’m an action/adventure fan) I held back purchasing the books for years. This year, I decided to buy all the books that interested me. Many of them were on sale, so it was a perfect opportunity to buy the books I was curious about. My intention for doing this is to read them whenever I feel like it. If I don’t like them, then I didn’t spend so much money on them like I would’ve if I purchased them at full price.

Here are all the books in this haul…

I want to mention there is one book in this haul that I didn’t photograph. It was the third book in the Crescent City series, House of Flame and Shadow. I forgot about it when I took the photographs for this haul. Just know that I do own it, even if it isn’t photographed!

The first book in this haul is House of Earth and Blood…

House of March and Blood is the first book in the Crescent City series.

The second book is House of Sky and Breath…

House of Sky and Breath is the second book in the Crescent City series. Like I already mentioned, I own the their book in the series, but I didn’t photograph it.

I decided to buy the books in this series because I saw the third book for sale at Walmart. I thought the plot sounded interesting and different than the kind of fantasy books I normally read, so I decided to purchase book three and the first two books in the series.

The version of the series I purchased includes all five books in paperback in a box set…

I had my eye on this series for over a year, but I didn’t like the idea of purchasing all the books in a series I didn’t really know if I would like. Still, the price I found it on sale for was too good for me to pass up. I need to mention that the box did come torn in one of the corners. The books are fine and are in great shape, but I think it’s pretty ironic that the book series I felt so conflicted about didn’t arrive in the mail in perfect shape!
