June 2023 Collective Book Haul
It’s Wednesday, which means another collective book haul post. Today’s haul is from June 2023.
In June, I purchased a lot of books. My intention was to buy as many books I wanted (As long as they peeked my interest) so I can have something to do indoors during the summer. After looking through all the books I purchased, I didn’t like as many as I thought!
While preparing for this June book haul post, I decided to omit all the books I purchased that I didn’t like or probably won’t be interesting to read about in a post.
The first book in this haul is Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins…
I read this book in 2010, when it was first published. I liked it a lot. Sadly, I borrowed the copy I read from a friend of mine. Since I didn’t own one, I eventually forgot about it. In May, I found a copy of the book available at a Walmart. Even though I liked the book, I went back and forth about purchasing a copy of it. To be honest, I didn’t think I would like it today! Even though I had reservations about the book, I decided to purchase a copy of it. I read a little bit of the book and so far I remember why I liked it so much.
The last three books in this haul are Love on the Brain…
The Love Hypothesis…
And Love, Theoretically…
All three books were written by Ali Hazelwood.
I purchased these books because I heard about them very often on social media and even on TV. I’m not sure if I will get around to reading them anytime soon, but I am happy to have them in my library.
Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
