Morphie 35D Desert Bouquet Pallet Review
A while ago, I decided to stock up on all the Morphe eye shadow pallets that I believe I would like to own and enjoy using. One of these pallets is the 35D Desert Bouquet pallet. I purchased it in June 2021 and, even though I fully intended on writing a haul post about it, I decided not to. Since the, I used the pallet and really wanted to share my thoughts about it in a review post.
Here is what the box the pallet comes in looks like…
And here is what the pallet looks like…
All the colors in the pallet are inspired by the desert and include names that are inspired by desert plants, items found in deserts, and phrases that could be heard when talking about a desert. The names are inspired by the Southwest desert, specifically by the Sonoran Desert found in Arizona.
At first, I was hesitant about purchasing a pallet with so many colors I don’t normally use. I though I may not use it enough and I wouldn’t get my money’s worth out of it. Even though I was worried, I found I really liked many of the colors in the pallet. The pallet contains several mate shades as well as glitter shades. I don’t have many brown shades of eye shadow in matte anymore (My other brown matte eye shadows are old) but this pallet contains many matte shades that are similar to my old eye shadow shades. Also, there are two matte dark, almost black shades that I use on a regular basis as well as two light shades that complement eyeshadows I use as well.
As I expected, this pallet does not have much, if any, fallout. The shades are rich and pigmented and blend very easily. The shades look great together and work well with many skin tones.
I highly recommend this pallet to anyone looking for a pallet with a good balance between glitter and matte shades. I also recommend this pallet to anyone looking for brown toned eye shadows but would enjoy owning a pallet with some brighter colors, such as fuchsia, included in the pallet.
Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
