Garnier SkinActive Micellar Foaming Gel Cleanser Review

For the past few months, I began to wear more sunscreen. After I found a few sunscreens that worked and didn’t irritate my allergies, I began to need a different cleanser. I love my favorite cleanser, Burt’s Bees Sensitive Skin Cleanser, but it doesn’t clean off the sunscreen very well. After looking through my collection face cleansers I purchased to try, I found a bottle of Garnier Skin Active Micellar Foaming Gel Cleanser. I used the Garnier micellar water to take off the sunscreen and my skin liked it, so I optimistically began to try it.The bottle of the foaming gel cleanser comes in a bottle with a pump…

The cleanser is for makeup removal, but it can be used as a cleanser. Once pumped, the cleanser is clear and a gel texture. Once wet, the cleanser turns from a gel to a foam. The cleanser is advertised to be good for all skin types, including sensitive.

After a month of using the cleanser, I fell in love with the cleanser. It works very well and cuts through the sunscreen, easily removing it from my skin. It also works great to cut through oils and other greasy products and leaves no residue. It is also hypoallergenic. It has no odor and is gentle on the skin.

Since I used this cleanser to only wash my sunscreen off, this is the second cleanser I usually use in a day. Even though it’s the second cleanser I use per day, it doesn’t throw off the oils in my skin or irritate my skin when used on the same day as the Burt’s Bees cleanser. I also need to mention the Burt’s Bees cleanser is a PH balancing cleanser. So if my skin’s PH did become imbalanced by the micellar cleanser, the Burt’s Bees cleanser usually fixes the issue.

I really enjoyed using this cleanser and highly recommend this product to anyone who struggles with allergies and sensitive skin but would like something that will cut through skin oils as well as oily and greasy makeup and face products.

Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
