Now that Christmas and New Year’s are over, I think it’s finally safe to admit I’m guilty of buying myself some Christmas gifts this year. Actually I purchased myself more items during the holiday season than I did gifts. Some may read this as being selfish and only thinking of myself this year instead of others, but in truth I actually needed the things I purchased for myself. Plus, most of the items I purchased are seasonal while others came in gift sets and can only be purchased during the holiday season.
After buying things for myself, a few items stood out to me as more “gifts to myself” than things I actually needed. Even though it’s January, I wanted to share all the items I purchased myself that I didn’t need but wanted (and can use) anyway.
The first gift I purchased was two scarfs at Victoria’s Secret…
I love Victoria’s Secret scarfs, so while I was out shopping I found them on sale for $10 USD. I picked up two because, even though I liked the other colors available, I didn’t need any more scarfs.
The next gift I purchased for myself was this pair of luggage tags…
I saw these luggage tags at Marshall’s and fell in love with them. In addition to the huskies, there was a set of tags with golden labradors. I went back a few days later and purchased them as well, but I decided not to include them in this haul.
The next gift I bought for myself is The Art of Disney’s Frozen II book…
I already own The Art of Disney’s Frozen as well as other art books from Disney, Marvel, Lucas Films, and other films and TV shows, so this book was a perfect addition to my art book collection.
The next gift I purchased for myself was a new make up brush set…
The brush set is from Nicole Miller New York and I found it at Marshall’s. Here’s what the brushes look like…
The handles are rose pink glitter are so pretty and I’m so happy to have a set of pretty make up brushes to use!
The next gift I purchased for myself is the Frozen 2 x Color Pop eye shadow pallets…
I loved the Frozen 2 x ColourPop make up collection, but I didn’t like all the products in it. After a trip to Ulta to see the collection in person, I really liked the eye shadow pallets. So, I picked them up for myself as a treat.
The last gift I purchased for myself was a gift set of Caroline Herrera’s fragrance Good Girl…
I went back and forth about purchasing a bottle of Good Girl. After looking at it for over a year, I finally decided if I found a gift set of Good Girl and it cost less than a bottle on it’s own, I purchase it. I found this gift set, which cost less than the smallest bottle of the fragrance, at Ulta and purchased it.
Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
