Favorite Fall/Winter Fashion Trends for 2019

It’s fall again, which means it’s time to bring out the fall and winter clothes! It’s not cold enough to wear coats yet, but I still wanted to see what kind of fashion trends are in for fall and winter 2019. Since there are some trends I like more than others, I wanted to share my favorite trends for fall and winter 2019!

I had a love/hate relationship with capes. They looked so beautiful, but like Edna Mode in The Incredibles, I was a stanch no capes person due to practicality and the fact it would get in the way if I wore them. In recent years, my lifestyle began to change and I began to have the freedom to wear things I couldn’t before, such as capes! Since I missed wearing them for years, I’m happy they are a trend this year so I won’t look too out of place wearing the cape I purchased last year on clearance!

Power Suits

I’m not a suit person, but I sometimes need to wear them for work. Because of this, I’m always on the hunt for new suits that I will like. This fall, power suits are supposed to be a trend. This makes me happy because this may give me more suit options to pick from than I normally would have.

Jeweled Tones

I love jeweled toned clothes for fall and winter. They suit my skin tone, in my opinion, very well. This is why I’m so happy jeweled tones are back in this season. Not only do I want to get some newer, more updated clothing in jeweled tones, I need some clothes to replace my old, worn out ones.

I always love plaid, so it makes me happy to see plaid as a trend again this year. I’m unsure what I would like to find and purchase in plaid, but I’m interested to look at what stores have in plaid.

The last trend I’m excited for this season is lace. I love lace, but it’s impractical for me and my lifestyle because I get shirts, skirts, and anything with lace on it caught on things. Despite this, I would like to see if I can find anything with lace on it to wear during times that I know I won’t need to worry about it getting torn.

That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
