Sephora Haul- July 2017

On the last week of July, I placed my order from Sephora for my monthly essentials. Although I normally order one thing from Sephora, this month I ordered three things along with a few samples.

The one item I order monthly from Sephora is Glam Glow’s Supermud Clearing Treatment.

I ordered Supermud a few months ago in an attempt to take better care of my skin. Since I started to use it, I found it easier to clean my pores than before, which is why I began using it in the first place. I ordered a jar in 22 oz size, the same size jar as I did in my previous orders.

In addition to the Supermud, I ordered Tarte’s Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint.

I discovered this while watching Youtube videos. I love the idea of liquid lipsticks more than normal lipsticks, but all the ones I tried dried out my lips very badly. While watching Youtube videos about Tarte’s limited edition Unicorn line (Called Make Believe in Yourself), I loved the color of one of the lip paints, Festival.

A few months ago, I found this color was reduced 4 USD than the other Tarte Quick Dry paints on Sephora. I ordered it and after I tried it out, I fell in love with the color and the formula, which did not dry my lips out. I am not done with my first tube of lip paint, but I wanted to purchase a second as a back up and to keep one in my purse and one at home.

The final item I ordered is a travel size of Smashbox’s Photo Finish Foundation Primer.

I never tried Smashbox products before, but I’ve heard they are very good. I never used a foundation primer, but I wanted to test Smashbox’s out before I try other brands. Since this is just a test, I order the small travel size just in case I don’t use the whole entire bottle.

Even though my order included three items, I also order some samples as well.

Originally I planned on placing my order, I wanted to get three samples beauty insiders receive. When I looked at the front page of the website, I found out that if beauty insiders typed in a special code, they would receive a bundle of seven skin care samples, called Skin Superfoods, as well. So, after I picked my three samples and the code for the skin care samples, I ended up getting ten skin care samples.

There are so many samples to try that I need to research what each one is best suited for. Since I have oily skin, I need to make sure I do not put the wrong kind of moisturizer onto my skin. I’m not sure if I’ll give an update on the skin care samples, but if anything works out I’ll probably mention it in a later post.

Thank you for reading!
