Kate Spade New York x Target Collection In Store Exclusives

Now, you can toast togetherness and host the ultimate spring party with this limited-edition collection from kate spade new york and Target that’s designed to dazzle every guest on your list.

I was really excited to see this. I really like Kate Spade New York and wished Target would do a collaboration with them for many years. Although I love their products, I don’t always like the price. Since they can be out of my price range, I always hoped for a Target collaboration in order to purchase more price friendly items. To see this collaboration come true makes me very happy!

That being said, I have a lot of thoughts about the collection. It is a really large collection, so I decided to talk about my thoughts in future posts dedicated to specific things in the collection.

For my first post about the collection, I wanted to talk about the in-store exclusive items.

Like I already mentioned, everything in this post are available in store only. Even though they have listings with prices on Target’s website, they will not be for sale online.

The first item available in store only is this bag…

It is called the Large Tote Bag. The listing description for the bag is…

The bag costs $10 USD.

The next item from the in store exclusives is this cute wicker bag…

This bag is called the Pearl Embellished Strawberry Basket Bucket Bag.

The listing description for the bag is…

The next item from the in store exclusives is this beaded clutch…

It is called Going to Target Beaded Clutch.

The next in store exclusive item is an inflatable strawberry…

This strawberry design is similar to one used in an inflatable chair, which is not an in store exclusive. This strawberry inflatable is called Decorative Inflatable Light Up Strawberry.

The last in store only item is this bike…

The bike is called 700c/28″ Strawberry Print Adult Bike in Navy/red. It has the Schwinn logo on it, which makes me thing it is manufactured by Schwinn, a well known manufacturer of bikes. It also has strawberry print on the seat and bike chain guard. The back has an area for a basket to be strapped to.

The website’s description of the bike is as follows…

This 700c/28-Inch Adult Bike from kate spade new york x Target will have you moving through the streets in style. Made with steel, PVC and nylon, this bike features seven gear speeds, smooth tires and a step-through frame. It’s equipped with a chain guard, and the cushioned seat with adjustable height ensures a comfortable ride.

The price for this bike is $300 USD. There will also be a children’s version of the bike for $149 USD, but it is not a in store exclusive. Also, it looks like the bike cannot be purchased pre assembled. (I may be wrong about it, but I can’t find anything on the bike’s listing page that says anything except the dimensions of the box the disassembled bike will come in)

After looking at all the item in this part of the collection, I can honestly say I feel conflicted about them. I really like the strawberry bag. Out of all the items in this part of the collection, I know I would go to a Target just to purchase the bag… if I live closer to one! That said, I didn’t like the other items. For me, it felt like the only thing I would get use out of is the strawberry bag. The Going to Target clutch is cute, but I’m not sure if I can use it enough to justify purchasing it. I love the bike, but I feel like it is the type of bike I want to go for a leisurely ride around a park in. Although I own bikes and used to enjoy biking before I became ill, I live away from nice parks with biking paths. Instead, I use mountain bikes. I’m afraid the Kate Spade bike is just not the kind of bike I’m looking for.
